Georgia - if you are having problems with even the boxes it sounds like something may be wrong with the machine. do you have different settings and have you tried them? my machine has 3 settings for the crust - light - dark. as far as just using recipes i have played with the amount of oil and yeast to get a lighter and moister bread.

Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Sorry guys, I've been sleeping on the job and forgot to check back on this.

1 C. milk
1 egg
4 T. butter or margarine
3 1/3 C. bread flour
1/2 t. Salt
2 t. Dry Yeast
-or-
1 1/2 Fast rise yeast/ bread machine yeast

Program set for dough
When done, knead dough 1 min, then let rest 15 mins.
Roll into 15"x10" rectangle.
Spread 1/4 cup margarine (not spreads) over dough to wiht in 1".
Sprinkle with 1/4 C sugar, 2 t. cinnamon.
Roll dough up tightly on long side. Seal edges. form into a 12" long, even shaped roll. Cut into 1" pieces. Place into a greased 13x9" pan. Let rise 30-45 mins.
Bake @ 375 for 20 - 25 mins. Cool and frost.

These rolls stay moist even the next day. I want to get another bread machine so that I can make two batches at one time. They go sooooo fast.

There ya are.
