I got married at 35; my husband was 37. We got married on my parents' anniversary, and have been married for 18 years now.

I would have liked to have married the guy I was dating at 20, but he had other ideas.....according to what I've found on google, he is quite rich now.

Oh, well.

I was eightteen when i got married in Nov1955.
My husband was ten years older. It has been fifty seven years. Looking back don't know where the years went. Now I worry how long it will be before one of us passes away.

Sueanne don't think like that just take one
day at a time. It is wonderful that you two have had
all these years together. I married the 1st April of '55 and
was 18 also. That marriage ended (not my choice) and
I was blessed to remarry July 18th of '87 but God called
him home 8 yrs and 3 months to the day. I miss him
so very much but don't dwell on it or I would be
a basket case. God bless
