I was 18 and my dh was almost 20. We were high school sweethearts and I at that time only wanted to be his wife and have his kids. I have no regrets. In later years I wanted to go to college and be a nurse but it wasn't meant to be, as I became a nursing assistant instead. We had our first baby a year after marriage, a girl. Three years later we had our first son, when he was 11 yrs old we had our last son so it was pretty much like raising 2 families. We have had happy and sad times in our yrs. together but I think all couples do. He is my soul mate and we will be married 48 yrs. this month. I would do it all over again.

Happy face

I got married for the first time in 1962.. 1 month before I turned 21. Had my kids close together.. 5 kids in 7 yrs. We were married almost 42 years.. he passed away. We had our ups & downs like most couples. My 2nd marriage I was 64. I married my high school sweetheart. I've known him all my life. We dated when I was in high school, but it didn't work out then. He's a wonderful man & spoils me rotten. We've been married 3 years. . will be 4 yrs this December.

We were high school sweethearts too . . . I was just a few months shy of my 19th birthday and he was 20. We will be married 20 years in September (together for 23 years). Poor guy has had more years of "through sickness" than "health" with me! We have our lonely only dd with no more kids on the horizon.

I would definitely do it all over again! I think about all of the "what could have beens" of us getting married young, growing up together and am thankful that God was working in our lives even before we realized our need for Him.

I got married at age 25. DH was 24. We got married a year to the day we met each other. We've been married over 18 years.

When the kids were born I was 26, 30 and 36.

I was 24 when I got married to my husband. I had known him since I was 14. We just celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary Wednesday.
