I thought I was in love with the man I married the 1st time, and was with for 10 yrs and had 2 kids by.
In 85 I met my soul mate and found my true love
so it depends on which way you look at the question. Did I marrage my true love yes I finally did on Round 2, sure am glad I found him too.
He is not only my mate, but my best friend, mentor and many other titles...

Sueanne.. handsome hubby!

This is legally my second marriage too..but I was 15 the first time to a guy I knew 4 mos. Lasted 10 mos... hardly a marriage. Married Memin when I was 19 and been married almost 15 years. It was rough going for awhile but anything worth having is worth working for.

Since my DH is the first guy I ever dated that I was serious about, I would have to say, yes.

No, my husband isn't my first love. But he is my only love.
I'm glad I didn't marry my first love, he turned out to be a jerk.

No, I didn't marry my first love. It was good that I didn't though. We were both young, he was 18, and I was 17 and he ended up hanging with the wrong crowd and getting into legal trouble several times as an adult...
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

no I didn't marry my first love but was asked to marry him. he was moving back to Virginia and knew I wouldn't want to leave my family so it didn't work out. Although since I was married to my second love for 24 years and that didn't end up working maybe I would have been better off marrying the first one :-)

First love & still love

I met my hubby when I was 15 and he was 16 (we went to rival high schools). We married when I was 20, and we are going to celebrate our 26th anniversary this summer. He is my first love and my best friend. We've been through a lot together, but I feel like a very fortunate and blessed woman to have him as my husband!
