My husband is a "flowers" type of guy but he gives a GREAT foot rub.

He will also drive me anywhere I want to go. I know that it sounds funny but I have this thing about driving on our huge highways here in NC so I often turn to him to get me places.

He works third shift so there are many days that he works with very little sleep to get things done at home or when we have things to do away from the house.

My dh makes me the best french toast ever on Sunday mornings. And he is great about fixing things.

I can't say what my favorite thing is...

He is my other half, my crutch, my rock and my pillow.

My favorite thing that my hubby does for me, would be the foot and leg rubs he gives me every night. I feel so much better after he does this. He is my everything.

he goes to church
he tells me (when I am feeling fat) 'but you're my fluffy wife and I love you' and then he hugs me

I'm easily pleased, so whether it be a surprise meal at the end of a long day, a back rub, or, or, or... I'm never disappointed.

Many years have passed since we started this thread so some things have changed. Now it is what I can do for my dh to make his life easier. He still makes the coffee and sets the table at seven each morning. But he is not able to do the big things he could do before and he knows it. He is still cheerful and caring and is happy in our home with my ds and I taking care of him. Lucky to have had almost sixty years of him taking care of me.

My ds just met a girl who is taking care of her father too who we know in our community. It is wonderful to have children that will help with their older parents too.

My husband is gentle ... Especially when I am upset ... He talks with me and we laugh together.

The one and only thing my hubby does for me that is my most favorite above all things...
is to minimize the amount of complaints I have to endure regarding how many years he has worked continuously over the last 31 years of his life (excluding a possibility of 6 months for health and lay offs).
