Hi, autumnmum

Aren't you Blondie's baby girl ?

I got your e-mail, and I'm getting my thoughts organized for my wish/want list. I'll be sending all my stuff on it's way. You sure are taking on quite a project!

It's a great idea! Thank you in advance.

Val

Here is a list of search engines I use regularly...all you have to do is enter "internet coupons" is it is not already listed there...some of the sites have it under "frugal living" or "frugality" too...

http://www.websmart.com
http://www.yahoo.com
http://www.google.com
http://www.goto.com
http://www.sureseekers.com
http://www.altavista.com
http://www.snooper.com
http://www.finditseek.com
http://www.excite.com
http://www.ihelpyouservices.com

Hope this gives you a few more places to look! If you run accross any "Target" coupons, be sure to check it out at Target.com first...they have some fakes out there and we don't honor them at Target...I know this cause I work at Target in Pasadena, Texas.
Take care...aren't you the one who lives in Cleveland??

Val, am glad to have you become one of us!

Will wait to hear from you.
Yes, I'm Blondie's daughter.... but, I'm sure not a 'baby' any longer...LOL... I have seven grandchildren of my own, now.

That reminds me.... when you email to me your list and mailing address, remind me to give to you my mailing address....you know how it is with us "older" ladies.... we do have our "senior moments"!! LOL

Thanks autumnmum 2002

Yep, I found it, thanks! I'm working on my 'want list', and cutting out all my extra coupons from Sunday's paper. It'll be another week or so til I get this project finished, but I'm definitely in!
Dawn

PS - What's TTFN? Is that a Tigger thing? Saw it yesterday at Open House on the drama teacher's door and wondered then too! His said "As tigger says, TTFN!"

Can we get a dollar sign smilie?

Dawny75....

Hi Dawn
Glad to have you join. Take your time with your list. You can always add or delete to it ~ no problem.

TTFN LOL It stands for "Tah Tah For Now"
Can't be certain, but will let you know about the thread that gives you 'alot' of these abbreviations...a Family Corner, of course! I believe it was Kimmyo who started it. Try searching for it. If anyone out there knows of it, reply please. I'll check back in my notes, also.

Good idea!! A smile on a $ sign! Love it....I'm not able to create things with this Web, but if anyone else could help with this... please advise. Thanx. ~

TTFN ~ ~ ~ ~

Yep you got it right....TTFN is "Ta Ta for now!" You will find the post on abbreviations in the News and Announcements Forum I believe.

Good morning!!! Ok, I've got my wish list ready and I'm going to email Carol now with my address and other info. I can't wait to get going on this coupon swap. I'm looking forward to info on how much more we can save after we join. I bet it'll be a lot more than we're saving now.

Good evening Katie....

Just finished writing an email to you.
Sorry it took me so long to reply ~ was a beautiful Michigan day, and I was lost in another of my 'loves', ~ gardening.

Yes, I do think that you'll be saving a bit more after joining the club. For the main reason that you'll be receiving coupons that you actually use. If you're in the position , like I am, where you can 'stock~pile', the savings is actually much greater. To get into this "stock~piling", one must have some up~front cash to get it rolling, along with getting your every week products, for that week. Means putting out much more that one week, but in the long run, you'll have it so much easier and "cheaper", afterwards. You'll be able to purchase items when they are on sale, in quanity. Meaning you don't 'run out' of anything. Yes, there are things that need to be bought all the time, like your milks, breads & meats, (if you don't have a freezer), and also fresh produce. But there are still times that I have had coupons, for even those items. Breads... I can go to a bread store, get it reduced, freeze it, and still come out ahead, by just that, but....the bread store (Hostess) that I go to here in Michigan, gives you a card, that when filled, you get even more "freebies".

Yes, I'm a Tightwad and proud of it! TTFN ~ ~

There are so many ways to be frugal and I'm sure that some of you 'out there' could tell me alot more than what I know now. And I'm all ears....
