October 2012~It's Turkey Time
 

Just got my sales flyers yesterday.. Krogers has whole turkeys on sale this week for 79 cents a lb., hams $1.19 lb.

This is the time of year to stock up on meat if you have a deep freezer.

I will buy extra's of these, cook in my Nesco roaster (just basically boil in the turkey). Debone it, put it in freezer bags and stock up as much as I can. With meat prices soaring, it's always good to be stocked up when you can find prices cheap.

Thanks wish I had a Kroger near us. I will be on the look out for sales in our area. I buy a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving. I will be soon time to pre order that. Thanks for the reminder.
