Do you clip coupons, send in rebates and use store discount cards?

I'm not as swift as some women who use coupons and rebates to save hundreds of dollars, but, I do use coupons for items that I normally buy. I also have a wallet full of store discount cards--if nothing else, they will never have a hard time finding out who I am by all of the forms that I've filled out!

Do you use coupons, send in rebates and use store discount cards to save money?

Do you have any tips for those who want to start saving money this way or for those who would like to start saving more money???

My best tip would be to join the Family Corner Couponaholics! We share coupons through an exchange where we all mail coupons (and 2 stamps) to one member, and she sorts out the coupons according to everyone's wish list and then mails them out.

I like to combine coupons with store discounts to get the best deal possible.

It helps to use a menu plan AND keep your pantry/storage area semi-organized. Then when you make your shopping list, you can see at a glance what you need.

I don't think that using coupons takes that much extra time, and the payoff in savings is definitely worth it. I usually save about 25% of my grocery bill with coupons and store sales.

I send in rebates when I can. I use coupons only if it is something I want. Most of the coupons in the paper are for things that I don't like or want. I have coupons for free frozen dinners from Michelina's. I sent them a note & told them they needed to add more sauce to their dinners & they sent me 3 coupons for free dinners.

I always use my store discount card. I use coupons for something I want when I have one and if there is a rebate, I send it in.

I love using my coupons but rarely do I use one "just to try something" and I send in rebates too when I get them and if it is something I normally use. I have in the past bought some food that had a rebate even tho' I did not think I would like it but others in house would AND I ended up liking it too. So with rebate and all was a good deal.
I will take what I am served knowing someone out there is being served MUCH less

I use coupons. Not as many as I did because we don't have a Sunday paper anymore. Makes it harder to find coupons. I do have a few store rebate cards I use. One store quit the rebate program.

I use coupons and store discount cards. Do extra well at walgreens when they have a sale plus their coupon plus the coupons in the paper. Get it for almost nothing.
Buy all my cosmetics and hair supplies this way.

Miss not having double coupons but every bit helps.

Got a circular in the mail today from the Florida Lottery Scratch Off Tickets.
Some were for buy one get one free, some $2.00 off a $5.00 ticket and $5.00 off on a $20.00 Billion Dollar scratch off ticket. There was even a drawing with your non winning tickets for a new 2010 Mustang.
There were more games than I could list here. The coupons expire on May15,2009, This gives everyone plenty of chance to win.
Check your post office should be plenty in their trash cans.
