Gosh I never noticed the letter till you mentioned it HappyMom. I checked my ones and only had one with a G but it is now put "up" and will put away all with a G on them. Great idea thanks.
I bought Adam a coin bank for Christmas it adds up as you put it in. I started him out with a quarter (last of the big spenders lol). I may even start putting aside (when I can afford to) ones with A and S on them and stash away for Adam and Steven. I have a CD that I took out years ago and have not touched that will be divided between them "down the road".
I save all my coins even the pennies. They all add up

Pag I believe that the $ bills only go up to the letter L or M. Not positive. But I have never seen letters for the end of the alphabet. But it is a fun way to save a little money.

This site has the meaning of the mint marks on the coins. I am not sure about the bills. I think they go A-L, but that is just a suspicion. I know that if you are collecting coincs, you should get the ones with the P and the D (or S) because only 2 mints are making the State Quarters.

Thanks for the info HappyMom and DeBora. Well for sure there is an A and will use B for Steven as that is beginning of his last name. So still can do it.
I save the state quarters too have several books one for each grand got most of them filled but not all.

That is an idea for saving $1 bills. The way things are going, I think money is safer in the jar.

We save all our change throughout the year.
Before Christmas we cash it in to buy gifts.
It really helps.
