Surprise Savings

We've saved about $45.00 this month. This brings my jar total to about $90.00. That's a good stash for yardsaling!

April Savings

I just counted mine and I'm at $36.00 for April. I plan to buy some new walking shoes and get back on my treadmill, I think I'll have to save one more month, but that is okay because this was painless.

Here's to saving

We do this to. One year I saved enough in change that when our lawn tractor went kapooey we were able to use the old one as a trade in and my change of 575.00 to buy a used but bigger lawn tractor with a snow plow on it. We were living in PA then.

Well I counted mine and I have a total of $ 47.75. I know I had more but unfortunately I had to dig into my jar for school lunch money a few times. Hopefully I won't have to do that again!

Hey how did I miss this thread - it was buried that's how.

This is a fun thing. Of course this month is halfway over.
I just turned in what was rolled $13.00 yesterday and have
more change in there.

Right now I have $8.32 - but it's loose and not rolled.

I am saving all my change for my California trip!!!

Hey, if I see a penny, I pick it up!!! DH thinks I'm nuts

This is a good idea. I'm going to do this, too. I LOVE yard sales. I think I will save for that. I wish I would have found this site sooner. I'd probably have tons of yard sale money by now.

WOW I am impressed with you ladies and all the change you saved. About 18 or 19 years ago I was a waitress and engaged to my husband I saved all the change I got for 6 months prior to the wedding. We were then able to buy hubby's wedding band, rent his tux and his son's tux for the wedding.

Unfortunately I am not waiting tables any longer and hadn't really given saving change another thought. But as of June 1, 2003 I am taking the months challenge. I noticed that this challenge was given over a year ago. So how about all the people who have found this thread since then take the challenge with me lets see how much change we can save.
