Pinkie Winky All Day Soup.....

ALL-DAY SOUP

1 beef flank steak (11/2 pounds), cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
5 medium carrots, thinly sliced
4 cups shredded cabbage
4 medium red potatoes, diced
2 celery ribs, diced
2 (141/2-ounce) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
2 (141/2-ounce) cans beef broth
1 (103/4-ounce) can condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
In large skillet, brown steak and onion in oil; drain. Transfer to 5-quart slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover; cook on low 8-10 hours or until meat is tender.

I was real hesitant about fixing this but was glad that I did. It did taste pretty good!!

I put it in the crockpot this afternoon - I put it in kind of late, so I may reset the crockpot to go all night. It looks really good!

Wendy - the soup turned out great! DH ate it for lunch today and then packaged it up to freeze for his dinners at work this week. Thanks for the recipe!

I will try this. I love using my crockpot. This will make a great meal for a weekend camping trip.
