Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings

as posted by Debbie F. in 11/05 WFD:

2 carrots, sliced
1-2 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2" pieces
1 (14 1/2 oz) can chicken broth
1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp dried marjoram leaves
Salt & pepper to taste
Cracked black pepper, to taste
6-8 boneless chicken thighs
10 oz. pkg. frozen green peas, thawed
1 1/2 cups Bisquick
1/2 cup milk

Place potatoes and carrots in 4 to 6 qt. slow cooker. Mix broth, flour, marjoram, poultry seasoning, salt & pepper together and pour into slow cooker. Add chicken.

Cover and cook on low heating for 6-7 hours. Stir in peas. Cover & cook on high 15 mins.

Mix bisquick, milk, and cracked black pepper til moistened. Drop by spoonfuls onto chicken mixture. Cover and turn slow cooker onto high for about 20 mins. or til toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
