Three Bean Chili

    Three Bean Chili

    1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    1 small onion -- chopped
    1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
    1 can (16 oz.) red kidney beans
    1 can (16 oz.) pinto beans
    1 can (16 oz.) black beans
    1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes (diced or pureed)
    1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce (optional)
    2 tablespoons chili sauce or catsup
    1 tablespoon oregano
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    1 teaspoon salt

    Drain and rinse all beans. Brown ground beef; drain.
    Add all ingredients to slow cooker. Cover and stir
    occasionally. Put on low heat for about 8 hours.
