Low Fat But Yummy Pie Crust

1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 TBSP + 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
2 TBSP + 1 1/2 tsp. shortening
3 TBSP. skim milk

Mix together flour, salt, and cornstartch. Cut in shortening until particles are pea size. Add milk one TBSP at a time until flour mixture is moistened throughout. More milk may be used if needed. Shape into a ball and roll out on a floured surface. Place in a 9 inch pie plate that has been sprayed with a cooking spray. Flute edges as desired. Bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes. Remove and cool
This low fat crust has 60% less fat than a regular pie crust. There are 3.6 grams of fat per serving.

Thanks RDalman ..... I have been looking for a low fat pie crust. Most ready made have to many calories. Been making our own Pumpkin Pies & Apple Pies this will really help on a Diabetic Diet.
