Wow you gals are doing amazing.

I did the weight watchers but after the 30 pounds I lost I seem to be at a standstill. Can anyone fill me in more on what all the low carbing is about and how to go about the 2 week detox you are talking about, I'm willing to try anything to lose 10-15 more pounds.

Thanks

hugs Debbie

Debbie, I hope you like those links. I must say Atkins changed my life. I have never lost so much weight and kept it off before. I love it. It is easy to do and you never feel cheated out of anything.

Hi Everyone, Im glad to see that there are people out here that are still low-carbing. I have been so sick the last week from my second bout with a stomach virus, that I havent even been able to think about low carb food. The very bad news is that I have gained yet more weight.

Im not even strong enought to beat myself over it. My DH and I have decided to start together again on Monday. The stress levels are really high in my house with his job coming to an end really soon. We've been told by this time next month, it should be over there. This is a good thing! Maybe we can finally move on and find somewhere to settle down and he can get a job that we wont have to constantly stress over. The airline industry is always stressful but this company is the pits!! Anyway....Im rambling.......

My main goal is to get us through induction and back to eating better. If we can do that, Ill be really happy. If I can keep us from getting sick any more this winter, I will be extremely happy!!

Hi Deb and EMMJEAN How are the 2 of you doing? EMMJEAN, It looks like you were the lone survivor until Deb showed up!! I check in here every once in a while to see what's going on. I'll keep cheering for you too!!

Please share any tips that work for you. Im always looking for ways to make things easier.

Spring is just around the corner, right??? I cant wait to be able to go outside to play, lol!! I cant wait to open up the windows too!!

Keep up the hard work!!

Tami

Hello there Tami. Hope you are feeling better. I do the best I can. Eat as low carb as I can. Money is very tight right now. What with the new house and DH only working maybe 15 hours a week this semester. SIGH. So I know all about the stress you are going through. It is so hard. But it has to get better. I too can't wait for spring so I can plant my garden and have all those free vegies. All low card too. LOL. Have a great night.

okay guys I have read up on this low carb dieting and I am ready to begin today!!!! If either of you have some suggestions for breakfast foods I would appreciate it. I think eggs are going to get boring after awhile. I am usually a cereal person!!!

The rest should be okay, We wnet out to supper last night and I had my last treats before today. Not having bread or pasta does not bug me I had really cut down on them anyways.

I have started back with my martial arts class now that the doctor gave me the okay. A little tough after missing 9 weeks but it felt good to be back on Sat. I did 1 hour kata which is a good workout.....I was sweating anyways!! LOL Tonight will be 1 1 /2 hour class and will include my 500 kicks for the kick a thon so should be a good workout

I weighed in today and I am at 160 pounds. I would like to get down to 145 or 150 would be good. Any less than that and I look awful as I am 5'8" tall just need that little extra gone.

Hope you are all doing well with your commitment to losing.

Hugs Debbie
