I am supposed to be working out at the gym for an hour every other day... so we will see if I continue it!

Ok. I worked out a plan. I think. I have hand weights so I used them. And I have one of those steps thing. 100 steps each leg. And crunches, YUCK!!!! I hate doing those. But that is what I need to do the most. Then I thought I would do more steps later in the day. Maybe get up to doing 200 steps each leg. I want to get a pedometer. I have an arobics tape that I like to do but the house is to small. There is just no room to move in. So until the new house is built I can't do it. DH wants to get a weight set. So as soon as we get that I will add that to my plan.
But I did get my exercise done today. So I am happy.

Maybe this is just what I need to keep me going.
I "inherited" a weight bench when my parents moved and decided to use it. Just kept lifting arms and legs until my muscles hurt a bit, then a bit more. Skipping a day so as to not over do it.
I also bought a small notebook to keep track of what I eat. Hopefully the shock value of what I actually put in my mouth will do good.

Dh gained 25# after quitting smoking yep, ice cream sure helped him do it! So now he's been on the treadmill every day until he's dripping. Between you guys and him sweating up a storm I'm bound to lose a couple pounds.

Checking in for the day. Exercising all done. Boy this is going to take some getting used to. But I know it is good for me and will help e lose weight. So I plan to stick to it. I plan on doing it at least three times a week. More if it feels right. DD gets her cast off tomorrow so my exercise will be going to the doctors and then walking the mall with her. It will be a mini Mommy Daughter day. She will be happy about it. Have a good day all.

OK, OK, I'm here

Been a busy day. I had to work at the office this morning, then visited my sister in the hospital (She has a lot of trouble with her asthma - due partly to her excess weight. Wouldn't ya think that would be a wake-up call for me??)

Then I had to go grocery shopping. Tami, your housecleaning can count if my grocery shopping can, too!!

As soon as Ethan wakes up from his nap, I'm putting him in his wagon and we're walking at least a mile. I promise!

Well no weights today, but I looked at them-doesn't count does it?
But I did get to run around town without dd2 (friends house) so I kind of power walked through the stores. That was sure a weird feeling !
