Let's all agree NOT to beat ourselves up during the holidays. Just do the best we can. I, and probably everyone else, is in better shape today than we were a year ago at this time. So that's progress!

It'll get easier in Jan. when the rest of the world is dieting with us.

VickiLynn, I agree much better off then last year. And DH just told me the samething about beating myself up about it. I mean I have never stayed on a diet this long. I think we all did great this year. Any weight we lost is wonderful.

ajrsmom, your welcome. Everyone needs a hug every once in a while.

Hi, everyone!!

I'm so glad there's a thread for lowcarbing here at FC!! It's soo nice to be able to get all the support you need for every part of your life in one family-like place!! We all just started low-carbing (again); this time for real! LOL Dh and I are doing the induction part of Atkins right now and we've got the boys kinda doing it ~ not totally excluding their carbs but cutting way down and making sure they're not eating more than one source of carbs at meal times.

I was trying to find a place to post some really good low-carb recipes that we've tried ~ do I post them here or over at the recipe exchange? Thanks!!! Have a super low-carb day!!!

Hi, Vicki!!!

Well, actually, we started induction a week and 1/2 ago and will be done by THurs!! Good timing, huh? lol But we're still going to watch carefully what we eat at Christmas dinner... we're having turkey and ham, mashed potatoes & noodles (those are my downfall ~ I may have just a teeny tiny bit!!), green beans, broccoli/cauliflower casserole, not sure what else for sides & main dishes but I'm making a low-carb peanut pie for dessert. We'll see if anyone can tell the difference ~ I'm not telling them it's low-carb

I have lots of really good lowcarb recipes that we've tried and I will start sharing them!! Just didn't know where to do it lol Well, gotta run the boys to the library for a paper mache bowl class that they're having for the kids on Christmas break. Have a super Monday!!!
