The nights have been cooler but the sun in the day time warms everything up. My fig tree has lost most of its leaves but it continues to produce figs each day.
I live in Lake County which has five large lakes. There is always an afternoon breeze and sunny most of the time. Live close to a mall which helps to pass the time and get great buys.

Live in an over fifty five development. Everyone comes from different parts of the country bringing different talents and accomplishments. It is self run with volunteers that keep it active. I love the house I picked and liked the fact that it is walking distance to the Club House.

The towns in the Area are always having events and fishing tournaments. If it was not for AARP Magazine I would have never looked into Florida Living or the Area I chose.

I live in BC Canada,,,in the interior of BC an area better known as the Sunny Okanagan Valley.
There are many many lakes and provincial parks in the area. There are at least 15 lakes within a hour drive of my home,,Okanagan Lake is famous for the Ogopogo( mythical creature that is said to live in the lake)
I live in a small rural town called Lumby that has only 1 four way stop light. I grocery store etc etc.
We are only 15-20 min drive from a bigger town, Vernon which is about 1 hr north of Kelowna BC. Our little town has grown in the past 10yrs. Many properties and farm have been subdivided and lots sold and houses built,,although many of the new people in town make the 15 - 20 min commute to Vernon to work.
So yes,,lots of lakes in the area, lots of mountains also, a world class ski mountain (Silver Star) so there are lots of outdoor activities in our area at any time of the year.
We experiece every season of the year but no season too extreme..we can have very nice sunny spring days to hot summer days at any one of the nice beaches, to sunny chilly autumn day and then some of the best snow and skiing in the winter without it being too cold.
Yes the Okanagan area of BC is a very nice place to live,,I have lived here all my live and don't imagine I will ever move...

Don't live near Lake City. I am near Lady Lake which has a very large community called the Villages. It is in several counties taking over all the farmlands they can stretch into.
This area is mostly for Senior Citizens who want an active lifestyle with club houses and pools. They keep building them and the retires come.
