Leftover Christmas Cookies?

Do you have leftover Christmas Cookies? What are you doing with them now?

The ones with cranberries in them I think the chickens would adore! lol

I am glad you said that because we had some cranberry stuff left over that wasn't palatable, so now I can give it to the chickens. We give them all our bread crumbly left over stuff as a treat.

LOL, you guys!

In our house, well, at least what I try and do is, stash away a tin (or two) in the deepfreeze downstairs, and then as a surprise and treat I'll pull them out in February, even March, and we'll enjoy the last of the Christmas baking from the year before!

Not going to go as far as saying it's a tradition in our home, just one of my silly little things I like to do.

I have mainly snickerdoodles and gingersnaps left so those would be good for that recipe you sent the link for! Thanks!

We have a "chicken" bowl under the sink; almost like a compost bowl and anything that is not meat goes into for the chickens. We are down to about 75 in three separate coops so they take turns getting the "treat". And when they see us we almost get trampled! lol My poor compost hardly gets anything any more!

Oh good , glad the link helped, we have just two chickens and when it is warm out, we let them go into our compost to scratch around, it is their favorite

What do you do with all the eggs, sell some, freeze some, use many?

Good afternoon all!!

How about making crumbs to use in place of eiher graham cracker or vanilla wafer crumbs for either cheese cake or custard pies?
