Slime Cake

Slime-a-cake

Gross out fun that tastes great and you will be the coolest MOM!

you'll need:1 box yellow cake mix(cake mix requires other ingredients which are listed below) make cake according to directions on box(need to make two 8 or 9 inch layers)
Prepare green slime:need 1 large(six serving size)box vanilla instant pudding and pie filling.8-12 drops green food coloring:follow instructions on pudding box,add food coloring to mixture as you blend.cover mixture and place it in refrig. for at least an hour or until ready to use. Prepare the whipped cream filling:need 1/2 pint well chilled heavy cream,1 tablespoon sugar,1 teaspoon vanilla,8-12 drops green food coloring. put all ingredients together in medium size bowl. with electric mixer, whip the cream mixture until it forms soft peeks.
Put the cake together: place one layer of cake on serving plate.spread the whipped cream thickly and evenly over the top.put the other layer on top of the whipped cream.cover cake with foil and put in refrig until ready to serve. Slime the cake: pour the pudding mixture into a gallon-size plastic sandwich bag with zipper closing.carefully sealthe bag, leaving a 2 inch opening for the slime to come through.(cover the sealed part with tape for extra security!you don't want all the slime gushing out at once.trust me!) remove the cake from the refrig, unwrap it and bring it to the table.slowly tip the bag of slime over the cake and slimes away!!!! makes a great kids party cake. the kids will think your "way cool".
