Happy Grandparenst Day to everyone. Forgot what day it was till after the grandkids called yesterday. Not even sure my dil and son realized it either. I had a great time on the phone with the 2 yr old. She loves the phone and to talk. Miss them so much.

we were supposed to go to my grandson's bd party on Grandparents Day, but didn't make it -needing the gas money for other things. Not even the grandkids who live with us said anything about Grandparents Day-although I kept mentioning that they should go over to Great-Grandma's and wish them Happy Grandparents Day..... OH well-just another day around here anyway.
DH, my Mom and I are going to go to my dgd's school next week for Grandparents Day at school, to join her for lunch. She'll be thrilled with 3 of us showing up. Mom is hesitant, but I plan on paying for hers and since they're have pork roast she'll love that. I've ordered a chef salad for dh though-he doesn't eat pork.

dd#3 with her dd and her mil stopped at my store this afternoon, got to talk to her (dd#3) for a bit. Mentioned Grandparents day and she said she didn't know anything about it.She said that I know I'm loved anyway-I asked her 'do I??'
dgd wouldn't even look at me-attached herself to her other grandma, that hurts 'cause it doesn't have to be that way. They only live 20 minutes away, but dd wouldn't and won't bring dgd to us occasionally to babysit while she and her dh go out or just spend time together. No point in going to their house 'cause they live with his parents. We go when it's dgd's bd or we're invited-when we can, but it's the same thing there as away from home-my dd doesn't know or realize how much it bothers me.
Oh well, I'm glad for the times we do get to visit with gd and dd too.
take care all, Pam

Hello Girls! Well today is a little rainy here in my area, rain is in the forecast - heavy at times... I am going to do some cooking today and have an early supper and since I have no kids around am going to fix some Pina-Colada muffins so tomorrow morning they will have a change of pace for breakfast and if any are left a snack for after school!
