Hi everyone--Got the whole outside finished! Wow! did dd & dh work hard to get this decorating done. It really looks pretty. I do love all the lights! The grandkids are sooo happy!! Now with the lights Santa can find his way!!! DD has cookies in the oven and in a while the kids will decorate the tree. All will be done as far as decorating goes. Patti, the rash dh gets does not hurt but it itches like crazy. Like I said he hasn't gotten it for awhile and he doesn't want the rash back! Theresa, I'm sure you feel great with a good nights sleep! Sleep well tonight and you to Patti!!!......I'll be in bed early tonight. Talk to you all tomorrow......Many blessings to all.....

shocking Hello..

Good afternoon everyone--I really can't believe this weather, it's 62degs. today. Feels more we should be getting ready for Easter instead of Christmas. My dil will be away a week or so, her step mom died of cancer, God bless and may she rest in peace. My ds is Mr. Mom this week, taking care of the 3 kids. He is very good with kids so he should have no trouble. The only trouble he had this morning was getting everybdy to the school bus on time. They just made it on time!! Turkey is all gone, but will be cooking another one as Christmas gets closer. We all love turkey! What has everybody been up to?? Wher are you Theresa? Are you still sleeping?? lol---Patti I hope you are having a nice day. Where are all the other GrandMa's?? Going to make a pot of coffee. I wish we could all sit at my kitchen table and have a cup together!!!!! Happiness to All.......

Who me? Still sleeping, ahhh I wish I was. No,just been busy today, got all the FC Christmas cards out in the mail, sent of a package to a very wonderful lady and special friend.Did some shopping today too,got a few more stocking stuffers for my grandkids.

Paid a few bills,do you notice that when you are waiting for something to show up in the mail the only thing that does show up are the bills every month?

It was -23 here again last night, brrrr, cold but tonight it is only -11,which is alot nicer than -23.Happy6,how are you doing? Patti how are you?

Well I am off to watch Criminal Minds than CSI Miami.

Hope everyone is well and doing good

Smiles

Hi Everybody--Another lovely day it's in the 60's again today! I can't believe how nice it's been! Well better then snow! Theresa, I got a chill when I read -11degs. WOW that's cold!!!! I bet you are use to the very cold weather. Are you??? Pattie, I think today will be a lazy day for me! I just don't feel like doing anything and to be honest I don't think I will. GS & GD are off to school and the other GS will be going in a few hours, he only goes half a day. When he leaves GD comes home from her half day of school. One goes to school in the morning and one in the after noon, so somebody is always here. This home can get nutty at times!!! Patti how is your foot?? I hope you do not have any more trouble with it. Theresa how is your husbands rash?? Well I'm going to have some coffe alone, wish you were all here to have a cup with me! Have a great day everyone---Happiness-

Good morning all Granny's/Grandma's/Nana's etc
My foot is totally better Happy and sure pray it stays that way.

We all deserve a lazy day now and then we earned them

Going to make more cookies today I hope. On IM right now with dear friend and former classmate. We don't get to talk very often. But sure make up for lost time when we do.

Hope everyone has a good day. Oh it is not too cold here today either somewhere in 60's. Take care all

Patti, glad your foot is better.

Are the cookies you are making for Christmas? If so, how do you keep them fresh? I've put mine in Tupperware and also in sealing bags. But not happy with either.

I think I'll make 4 quilts for the youngest grands. Have no idea what to do for the oldest 5.

It was in the low 40's today. Had the heat off all day.

Low 40's,wow I wish.We have had a blizzard today, almost 3 feet of snow fell and is still falling.

Yes Happy6 I have gotten used to the cold, sometimes it can get to -50 here, that's when this girl hibernates until at least spring.

Maryann,I put all my Christmas cookies into tin containers, put wax paper or saran wrap between each layer and freeze, they seem to stay really fresh that way.

Tomorrow I am making more Haystacks,so my daughters tell me.And making chocolate fudge and peanut brittle, which I love. And I think that will be all for baking for me until Christmas day when I do my pumpkin pies.

Hubbys rash is no better,I wouldn't say it is a rash,it is in spots on his whole body, they did a skin graft but still can't tell him what it is,wish we had doctor's here that care about their patients.

Found out I have a cyst in my left eye,and nothing they can do for it until the swelling and infection go away.yahoo, can't wait to see what tomorrow brings, lol.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week
smiles & hugs

Hi All---Hope everyone is well and happy. Theresa, after reading your post I'm freezing!! -50 degs. sometimes WOW!! Now I have a question for you.....Are you really Mrs. Claus and do you live at the North Pole??!!?....LOL.....It's 68degs. here and it's fine with me! How much snow did you get? Stay warm!! ....I had a stye when I had that virus before Thanksgiving and before I went to the doctors I was useing Stye-eye ointment---It did help the itching some---When I went to the doctors he gave me a prescripition for Gentamicin Sulfate Ophthalmic ointment and with in a few days it cleared right up....Hope it clears up for you soon, it can be so annoying....Maryann the quilts sound lie a great idea. I think it's wonderful to be talented in this area. I have no talent along these lines. I wouldn't even know where to start!! I've been to different craft fairs and the workmanship just amazes me!!.....Patti, are you busy baking cookies? Think I smell them baking...yummmy....Happiness to All.....
