Canadian baba here!
Greetings from Canada (Manitoba) here. Hope to meet other Canadians as well as all other here in the forum.
I am a retired dairy farmer, and a baba (grandma) to 9 lovely grandkids....I am an organist so Sundays I am a busy gal traveling to two churches. I hope when my time is up I have worked hard enough to have warranted a nice room up there lol......with a computer, an organ or piano andddddddd of course a big garden. I want to teach them angels how to be a farmerette too.
I love music too (cough cough) I should say Country Music lol to boot. I have a surround sound system set up outside so I can hear it while I work in my flower beds.
I love meeting new people and share gardening and cooking ideas. I am full of P and Vinegar but am overweight, have diabetes and need to loose big time and soon.

welcome CAnadian baba! head on over to the Introduce Yourself thread and you will get more information and exposure to other members on FC, I work with a bunch of Canadian gals (graduate students) and will be very sorry when they each complete their dissertations and leave, the accent alone is wonderful to hear, and then there is the lingo and the neat places they tell me to explore with my camper in Canada, you are so blessed to live in Canada! DebK on FC does curling and keeps us busy with her children and their curling competitions.
I am 55 years young and looking forward to grandchildren and retirement travel!

Hi to you gals from Collingwood, Ontario. We have finally come out from under the snow. It is a typical rainy Spring day here today. I am looking forward to our 50th wedding anniversary in June, hoping to celebrate with family & friends.
We are a retired couple, both 70 years young, with 5 children and 8 grands.
