Mastitis or engorgment during breastfeeding

When i was nusrsing my children I often would get engorged easily as I had a huge supply of milk and I did get Mastitis a few times....One thing that helped for me and you will all think this is silly but believe me it worked. I took a cold cabbage leaf and placed it in my bra..leave it there until it is all wilted and it will help with the pain and drawing the milk out. Worked for my anyways...thought maybe it could help someone else.

Hugs Debbie

That is interesting!! I will keep that in mind.

Although, I have yet to worry abut engorging with Zachary. He is hungery all the time!
