I love Chances Are. One of my all time favorite movies. I watch it every time I catch it on TV.

I think animal testing is a bad idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers!!

Forgot to report about In Her Shoes, it was sad a bit slow at the beginning. However it did have a decent ending.

Over the weekend I also watched Protzac Nation, now that was a depressing movie.

Lee, I think it is kind of funny that Prozac Nation would be a depressing movie when Prozac is an anti-depressant LOL. Was it worth watching?

I think you would like it. It is based on a true story of a girls mental health issues basicaly before she was on Proztac! Christi Ricci was the girl and Jessica Lange played her mom. It is an older movie and is based in the 80's. I am not sure the year it actually came out late 90's maybe?? A friend of mine recomended it, I belong to Blockbuster online so I put it on the list! Oh and my dh didnt care for it defintly a woman/girl movie!

Match Point

I saw Match Point last week. I liked it but I can't get used to watching dramatic movies from Woody Allen. I am so used to seeing her earlier comedies. It was well done and the characters are interesting.

Lee, thanks for the info. Think I will see if I can rent it for this weekend. I am not a huge Christina Ricci fan though she was awesome in the movie Monster.

Lorraine, I love Woody Allen movies but wasn't sure if Match Point would be worth seeing. I think I will rent it now but will probably watch it without dh as he is definitely not into chick flicks. I have been a Woody Allen fan for years, it will be interesting to see a non-comedy by him.

Most recently I saw Tristan & Isolde a tragic love story. It was a little gory in the beginning, war that is betweent the Irish & the Scottish. Was a good movie, but I like good ending love stories not tragic ones, but was good!!!

A few days before that I saw Pride & Prejudice. I liked it but we were in Sacramento and it was an old theater so the sound wasn't good at all. They had english accents so it was hard to understand at times, when they muttered. This one is one to rent - you can re-wind! I'll rent it again when it comes out.

I just taped Sommersby I think that was the name of it. With Richard Gere and Jodie Foster. Another tragic love story. My California friend loved it and said to watch it. Ok, it was okay. Like I said I like good ending love stories!!!

She, my Cali friend, is always taking me to movies while visiting. She said lets look ahead and see what's being released when your visiting again in March. So I saw a blurb about a movie something like "wishing it was you and me". It looked like JLo in the movie. Small ad. So she looked it up and it's a lezbo movie. Ick! Nope we won't be seeing that. I love my friend but not in that way! I just hope there isn't anymore tragic love stories being released.

Back in Oct she took me to see "Dear Frankie". She's in love with Gerard Butler. If you can follow the Scottish Accent you'll do fine. Long slow depressing movie - to me anyway!

Those are my reviews.
