Movies

We went to see Cat in the Hat, it was okay several things in the movie upset me, Mike Myers should not have been in this movie for small children, added some unnecessary vulgarities to an otherwise child friendly movie theme.

We also went and saw brother bear, an excellent movie, I also saw Sea Biscuit a really good movie.

I have heard that COLD Mountain is excellent and I am planning on seeing it.

Have a good time at the movies!
Thanks,
Deidra

Rented Freaky Friday. I thought it was a good movie. It is your typical people getting switched type movie. But, the meaning behind it was really good. I would recommend it if you have teens or preteen girl/s.

Whale Rider!

Excellent movie...it's an independent movie but well worth it. THe young girl that stars in the movie is up for an oscar and does an incredible job. Two thumbs up!

The last movie I saw at the movies was *Something's Got To Give* and it was VERY FUNNY and worth the matinee price of $5! ;-)

The last movie I rented was *How To Lose A Guy In Ten Day* and I thought it was absolutely hysterical. It's a good thing I rented it rather than seeing it at the movies because I laughed SO HARD and SO LOUDLY they probably would have thrown me out of the theater for being a distraction!

In my humble opinion the following are movies to AVOID. These are the last few movies I rented and thought they were horrible:
*About a Boy* (Depressing)
*The Good Girl* (Ugh! Makes you want to end your life by the end of the movie)
*Anger Management* (Frustrating, couldn't make it to mid point before turning it off)

Can't wait to get Under The Tuscan Sun!

Uptown Girls

Rented Uptown Girls today.

I thought it was a good movie!!

Especially at the end whan Rae smiles during the song that "the boyfriend" plays that was written by Molly's dad for Molly(the Nanny), during Rae's recital!

I would recommend it. Though some scenes are in appropriate for younger viewers! But, it is rated PG-13. Which I think is somewhat appropriate, although I think they should also have a rating of PG-16!!

I just took my sons to see "50 First Dates" and thought it was very cute. It probably isn't for the under 12 set as it does have some risque remarks in it. I saw "Something's Gotta Give" when it first came out and absolutely loved it! I think Diane Keaton was incredible in this movie as was Jack Nicholson. I think maybe women over 35 could really relate to this movie.

Lion King 1 1/2 - Bought it. Great family movie if you liked the original Lion King.

The Haunted Mansion-- Went to the 1.00 movie theater and saw this one. Funny and good movie. I love Eddie Murphy!
