What is something you are afraid to do?

What is something you are afraid to do?

I am terrified of way would I ride on one of those!!!

I am afraid of swimming UNDER water...though I can swim ABOVE water.........weird, huh?!!!

And I am, I wouldn't say terrified, but am afraid of being close to horses! That is one fear I am willing to get over though if ever given the chance to ride a horse.......but the rollercoaster...absolutely not!!!!!

So, what are YOU afraid of??!!!
hugs, train

I too am afraid of heights.
I also dont like suspended bridges that you walk over the water.
I once got out on the middle of one and froze- had to crawl back while someone with a sick sense of humor was doing all they could to make it sway or move to make my phobia worse.
Also have a hard time traveling on busy free ways.
One thing I want to do is go up in a hot air balloon someday.
But that day hasnt come yet.
Have to get ovet this phobia first.

Oh yes, I'm afraid of heights too! So, no rollercoasters for me, or any other ride, I get sick easy.

I also hate snakes! I don't want to get near any! Oh, I'm also not fond of walking on metal grates in the sidewalk.

Everyone who has ever taken a shower has had an idea. It's the person who gets out of the shower, dries off, and does something about it that makes a difference.

I am afraid to climb a ladder. It is not really a height issue, since I can be very high, as long as there is no chance that I will fall, such as in an all glass building. It is the idea that I may fall off the ladder. I think Dr. Phil is right about this. He says that it is a lack of control that makes us uncomfortable.

It seems that every time I do decide to climb a ladder anyway, I do fall. Recently, I was fixing the ceiling in my house, up on the ladder. I get so strange up there that I fall. Only a messed up knee this time. DH doesn't want me on that ladder again! LOL!

My biggest fear is actually about something happening to my kids. I have had this one ever since I was expecting our first. I wouldn't call this a phobia, I think it is typical with many mothers. It goes with the job description, from my experience with other moms.

Train i am like you under the water...terrified to be totally I guess scuba diving is out for me!!!

I also am terrified of fair rides...When I was a teenager I was in a cage ride that spun and the bar that holds you in was broken. I was like a scrambled egg in there. You can not get me on a ride to save my life!!! With some convincing from hubby I have let me kids go on rides but he has to go with them!!!

So any one else have some great fears they want to share???

Absolutely, positively terrified of mice, horses, heights (where you can see how high you are), under water, like scuba diving stuff.

We went to Disneyland and went some ride where we were not really under the water, it was just supposed to look like we were, I freaked out!! They had to stop the ride and let me get off!!!

I was on a horse when I was 7 and it was supposed to be being held by the reins by a guide, well, the horse jerked the reins and took off....terrified of them ever since.

Mice...just hate their beady little eyes!!!

Heights...never have been able to deal with that.

I am afraid of heights. I get very dizzy when I am up "high". I am also afraid of lightning. I always have been, since I was a little girl.

I am deathly afraid of snakes. I don't care if it's a little garden snake, I am afraid of them
