To learn something new
What is something new you would like to learn?
A musical instrument...a craft....a sport... cake decorating........anything?!!!!
And, what is something you wish you WOULD have learned as a child?
I would like to learn to do Yoga. I have wanted to do this for several years now but it is impossible to take a class with working the graveyard shift as I do.
I wish I would have learned ASL...........American Sign Language as a child. I know a few signs because I had a friend who was deaf. I wish I would have known more though to have been able to communicate with him and other deaf people.
Hugs, trainlady

I, too, wish that I wouldve learned to sign.
I want to learn to use my computer to the best of my ability. I want to learn to use the Photo Shop and my printer/scanner/copier, to use Word and all of the other programs.
I want to learn to sew. I had a chance to learn from my mother when I was 13 but then, I wanted nothing to do with it. I know that I can learn now but its finding the time to do it thats hard.

Hi Trainlady. I never have time to get on the computer much anymore much to my chagrin. It's good to see familiar names still here though.
As far as what I would like to learn to do I would have to say sing well--I'm just awful.

these would been now
would love to learn square dancing at any time
the next 2 would be as I was growing up
would love to be able to learn better grammer skills as a child growing up.
to be able to carry a tune... not sure if that is something you learn or just the ability to have...
got to think on this one more to see if there is anything else.

I always wanted to learn to play a musical instrument.....regret that I never did really slapped me in the face when DS # 1 started learning to play the tuba in August of 2002. DS # 2 will join the band when he enters 5th grade next year. So, I guess I'll live through them!
I used to know some basic sign language. (forgot most of it due to lack of use) I wish that I had studied it more.

I played the clarinet from 5th grade on throughout high school. It was a blast! I dont think that I could play it at all now but you never know. I dont have my clarinet any longer...gave it to my little sister when she wanted it. Band camp was a pain in the butt but otherwise we has a great time!!
Weve been thinking of giving my son guitar lessons. He loves to "play" with the guitar that he has now ( not real). He wants to learn to sing too. We have our very own Country singer here. Sure hope that he doesnt take after his parents were the singing is concernded though. ;-)

Wouldnt that be great!! He loves Toby Keith, Darryl Worlley( I dont know how he spells his name), Alan Jackson and Tim McGraw.
He sings to his sister and she sits and rocks and dances to anything he sings. It is the cutest sight!
