The crimes took place about 5 miles east of us. The strange thing is that when pictures were shown on the first TV newscast I saw, I thought I was looking at OUR house!! I recognized the kitchen right away, but the cupboards were different.

The next coincidence was that the man who built our house 22 years ago, and the house where the crimes occurred, is the owner of the franchise for the Burger King less than 2 miles from us, where some of these people worked, AND it is located just before the vet's where I take my kitten.

Today's paper said that the oldest one has been a manic depressive since he was 8, and his mother seems to have the attitude the authorities should "go easy" on him. Just wait!! ~~I can see already how they are going to work that one to death. I think the world is downright nuts, myself.

I read today at cbs.com that his parole officer along with 4 of his supervisors have been fired because they ignored and did not follow up on several things that should have sent the ring leader back to prison months ago!

That's right! If they had done their job right when he went in Thursday to see his probation officer, he'd have been thrown back in jail THEN. Because of such a terrible mistake,
this animal was turned loose on the streets, and one day later six people, and a dog were killed. The sheriff said in all his years in law enforcement he NEVER had seen such rage displayed by the type of violence
displayed in that house. The Belanger girl was so butchered she could not be identified for days through any means. Two of the kids had just graduated from high school, and today is one of the boys' birthday.

Blondie----That is such a terrible and horrible story.

The horrible things that go on around us!!!

Just dropping in to wish you all a good morning. Don't know if any of you ladies have been having storms around you. We have a terrible thunderstorm early this morning.

The electric flickered off for a short ime, but I was glad that it didn't mess up the alarm clocks.

Have a great day!

Lauri~

Your thunderstorms are ripping through here now. I keep debating if I should turn off the and wait for them to pass but obviously my addiction is getting the better of my common sense.

Good Morning Lil'One!!!! Glad to see you posting here, once again. How are your temps up in yooper-ville? In troll-land, we began the day at the low 50's, and not to exceed the 60's once again. All the cider mills have opened for business. Want to come on down yonder for some cider and donuts? My treat! How was Slim's birthday? What did you guys do?

Mumsy.....take care with that storm a-brewing. How is our little dickens, Kali? Is she back to being the normal kitty? Remember those famous words, "They can do no wrong!" My 's had a slice of homemade pizza this morning!! I taught them right!!

Gonna pick some tomatoes and peppers tday and begin my spaghetti sauce. Will put it in the crockpot to really simmer, and get all those flavors out. Sis, send down your men...I always make too much!! LOL
