Yep...you came to the right place. First of all...if you have the program PSP 7 you should be able to upgrade it for free, I believe to PSP 8.1. I may be wrong about that....but PSP 8.1 is what you need to learn on. Now there are still alot of tutorials for PSP 7 but if you are just learning you might as well learn from the newest one. It has some changes that you wouldn't have to relearn. go to Jasc Software and see how to upgrade your program. If that is not possible or you just really want to learn from PSP 7 there are great sites for that too. I learned on my own plus joined some groups. But then my PC died and I lost so much of my graphincs and picture tubes, filters and fonts. I have moved and am now using my duahgters computer which is Windows 98 and much slower than XP which is what I was used to. Haven't had time to get back into it and set everything up. But I can sure help you if you would like, snoowl is around somewhere....hopefully she will see your post and answer too.
Let me know......I can be reached at [email protected] if you would like to talk to me about it. Or we can do it here. However you like....PSP is awesome and alot of fun!
Hugs,
Dreamweaver

Marcia, Are you here?

I am going to try and spend some time here working on PSP8...I can do basic stuff but still have alot to learn..

I am saving my money for Adobe Photoshop CE...it runs anywhere between $500-700 . It is very user friendly.

Have you tried it?

Love Janet

Hi Janet.

I don't know anything about Adope Photoshop. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements, which is like a lite version that is sometimes included with computers. I have used it a couple times, but I can do everything I tried with that, on my PSP. That sounds like an awful lot of money to me.

Janet.... Now that I bought a new computer with XP find my old camera does not work on XP. Glad my Print Shop Pro still works on XP. It is so easy to fix photos. Bought a new camera but miss my old one. Guess it takes time to figure out all the instructions.
Wow that is alot of money for Photo Shop CE. Will have to check it out. Glad everyone is enjoying PSP8.

Marcia, I don't know why it is so expensive...the school has it in their advanced computer class..in High School.

I would love to take a class there, but they are not ready for old folks there...lol

The instructor would like to have a class for us older folks too.

It is for all types of media, movies, photos, dvds etc.

love janet

Microtek Take-It-350 Digital Camera

Janet......This camera is not like a regular digital camera. You download the photos into your computer with usb cable. When I bought it in 2000 the program was not set for XP. It is also a web pc camera.

Guess they want people to upgrade to newer models. Looks like it is discontinued.

Oh Yes, Sueanne I remember now...I looked that camera up to maybe buy and then it was discontinued...gee, I would forget my head if it wasn't attached.

You might just need to download new drivers for it...I had a Jam Cam that I got with my gateway and it is a usb download kind...well, I couldn't get it to work and after I searched the site, I found new drivers for it and it works now. I have XP now too.

SO that might be an option for you too.

I still don't have a real camera yet...but my son is getting straighter teeth...lol

It always seems something comes along to take your money. lol
