"I am reading a great book about anti-gravity. I just can't put it down. " unknown
Hello Everyone! At the time I have two books to read... I am skipping back and forth The first one is "1001 Things to do with your Kids" by Caryl Krueger and the second one is "A Second Helping of Chicken Soup for the Soul". Both are great- the first one has some wonderful ideas on keeping your child occupied on those "I'm so bored days, or inclement weather days...".

Does anyone else enjoy reading travel memoirs?
They're my favorite kind of book. "A walk Across America" by Peter Jenkins is my favorite.
Right now I am reading "The Great American Bus Ride...An intrepid woman's cross country journey," by Irma Kurtz
peace,train
Currently reading several books about "finances." The Cheapskate Monthly Makeover by Mary Hunt; Eat Well for $50 a Week by Rhonda Barnfield; Raising Happy Kids on a Reasonable Budget by Patricia Gallagher; and The Tightwad Gazette 3 by Amy Dacyczyn. Not my usual interests but it's turning out to be very educational and inspirational.

I just finished If Looks Could Kill by Kate White. It is a murder, mystery and Kate is a first time author of fiction (I think she has two non fiction books out there).
I enjoyed this book because it kept me guessing about who did it. First you think it is one person, then another, then another and so on. Plus, while I've never been to New York City, I kind of feel like she captured what the city is like a bit for me.
