I have been kept busy. A lot of outdoor work. I also am reading advanced copies of books for several authors. And am getting books from 2 authors in exchange for posting a review.
Buck has been doing a lot of fishing. He and two other guys have caught 53 catfish. They have also gotten salmon. Buck has caught the biggest one at 21 lbs.
Some went into my freezer for frying and the rest will be smoked. Some of the smoked catfish and smoked salmon will be going north to Buck's brother and his boys.

Wow!! That's a lot of fish!!!
I do not know how the saying dogs days of summer started. I'd have to google it.

Very hot out today. Been reading a book and doing eBay. Tomorrow I babysit my GD. And will take her to Jacksonville to pick up some eBay stuff I buy in bulk.

Felicia, it is a lot of fish but it gets distributed. We have two neighbors that love salmon plus we take smoked fish up North to Buck's family. And we give some to his sister also. And the other two guys have people that they give it to. Of course we all put some in our freezers too. And we freeze the smoked fish as well as the salmon. Fishing is over for a while now because the water is to warm. Fish are in the really deep part of the lake.

I'm up early to babysit. I don't like 7am, lol!!

Sharon, Happy to see Buck enjoying fishing again with his friends. Think of Him often when I see the prices of fish in the supermarket that come from other countries that are farm raised. Nothing like the salmon & catfish that is wild caught like Buck catches. The fishing in our lakes bring alot of fisherman to win prizes each year even a new boat. Plus it brings money to the towns for motels and restaurants. Nice seeing you posting.

I like catfish, even if it is really boney. I've never had salmon, can you believe it?! I should try it.

Another babysitting day. I will be doing it all week.

I got a 2nd interview with Home Depot. That's good. It'd be nice to get this cashier job. I shop there often.
