I blinked my eyes

I blinked my eyes and I am 53 years old!!
Goodness, It was 12 years ago this summer I first discovered Family Corner!

It has been fun over the years seeing pictures of all your children and now (mostly on Facebook) seeing pictures of them all grown up and off to prom....off to high school..and off to college!!
My oldest 3 nieces are driving, dating and one just finished her first year of college. I do not know how that happened because they were just born yesterday!!

Though I still miss the old days of Family Corner, the newness of it, it is good these days to see some new women joining and posting.
Maybe there will be a revival of this forum and that would be awesome!!

But 53, my goodness, sometimes I think how in the world did that happen because I was just 25 yesterday!
I still have a lot of energy but it comes in different spurts now that I am older.
I used to wake up with a bundle of energy and now I get up and read the paper and my energy comes in the afternoon and early evenings.
I've also noticed that the older I get the quicker time goes by, strange how that is!

hugs, train

train, so right you are! i feel the same way but my bones tell me they are older and my energy is good but doesn't last as long...what used to take me one day from 6 a, to 9 pm now gets stretched out iver 3 days from 8 to 1 with lots of kittle breaks in between...
