Predictions

Predictions in 20 years...quality of life, etc...

Could anyone have ever thought we would be using Facebook, Twitter, Wilkipedia, even the internet 20 years ago?

Could we have imagined how expensive it would be to fill our gas tanks?

What changes do you think will be coming in the NEXT 20 years that will affect our daily living?

.....I think maybe more electric cars
......Solar power more common in new buildings
......Internet as a tool of social advocacy weapon for seniors who are housebound/frail
......way more grocery ordering online
....no more "home phones"
......and wouldn't it be amazing if a cure for cancer was found!!!

What do you think?

hugs, train

I think we wont' be using money for much longer and everything will be through our cell phones.
Or some sort of electronic payment.

I hope that we do use more solar, wind power!

The only thing I can see changing in the next 20 years is HOPEFULLY Cancer will be eradicated - all kinds of Cancer (I know it has been knowingly - named around since around the 1950's or 1960's, might have been earlier)...I'd like to see man-made abortions stop being allowed by then, there are natural ways of that happening without man's interference. And yes, I get that people use being raped as a justification... But I KNOW that will not happen.
This going to be morbid, but I hope to not predict anything again 20 years after my 60's / 70's

I see our planet ending within the next 100 years. We've already reached and tipped-over what scientists refer to as the breaking point, a point at which even if we were successful at altering our ways, it's too late. The downhill slide has begun.

Location: I live in the foothills of Maine and near a major river. The area is quiet but we can be in a large city that has everything that you would want to visit. WE're two hours from Old Orchard Beach and it is so beautiful
