I have been reading this "Valentine series" by Curtiss Ann Matlock. It turned out I read the last book in the series first, but they're all very good.

In the middle of Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen --- funny so far.
Finished Wicked Appetite one of Evanovich's better non-Plum books.
Starting Driftless by David Rhodes next. This is our State's "book club" book for the year. Sounds interesting, but you can never tell some of the past picks haven't sounded bad---reading them was another story!

I just finished River of Darkness by Rennie Airth. It's a mystery set in England at the end of WWII. I really enjoyed it.

I am about to begin The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I have heard that it's good so I'll give it a try.

I'm almost done with 1984. It is a very slow read.

I am still reading I Capture the Castle by Dodi Smith. It is actually a very good book but I just haven't had much time to read lately.

Joy, let me know what you thought of the DQ book once you finish it.

I had started Homer's Odyssey before I left on my retreat. I had to start over last night because I forgot what I had read.........

I did finish the one I had started called Sugar Queen and loved it!!

hugs, train
