I just finished Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. It is historical fiction dealing with the roundup of Jews in France (specifically Paris) during WWII called the Vel' d'Hiv. The story is actually two stories-- the first one is about Sarah, a young Jewish girl and the other is about a journalist, Julia, who is writing an artical at the 60th anninversary of the event. It is an excellent book.

Joy, I have that book in my "to read" pile. Glad to know it is a good one.

A friend of mine gave me Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt and told me I HAD to read it. Wow, what a fabulous book. Tragic the way the boy lived, but the author has such a funny way of telling a story!

Barbszy, I loved Angela's Ashes I also read 'Tis and Teacher Man, Frank McCourt's sequels to Angela's Ashes and both were just as good. He was a gifted writer. His brother Malachai has also written a book that sounds really good but I haven't read it yet. I will have to ad it to my "to read" list.

I finished reading To Sleep with the Angels and it was an amazing book.

I am now reading What Is The What by Dave Eggers.

Cathy, How do you like Boneman's Daughter so far?
I am reading Exposure, by Brandilyn Collins. Really good, but not a book for reading before falling asleep!
Jamie.

YES...love it!
If I just wasn't be boping all over the place...(and addicted to the net, LOL) and could just focus, I'd be done.
It takes me a good 25 minutes but if I can just read that long I won't stop on a really good book~
Its really intense and you don't know yet who the "bad guy is". The story is really setting up the dad but if you read "Three" you know how Ted writes....

Thanks, Cathy! I put it on my library reserve. It sounds really good. I really enjoy Ted Dekker.

Yesterday I finished Nanny Returns which is the sequel to The Nanny Diaries. Not that great, and I actually found it depressing.

I just started one of the "Elm Creek Quilt" series. I needed upbeat reading!
