Roberta, that's what it costs me to fill up, too! I have been managing to squeeze 2 - 2-1/2 weeks out of a tank. Now that school is out, I'm trying for 3 weeks!

Gas was about 3.74 here in town but in Cedar Rapids it was 3.69 and then you might get a 3 cents discount with that too,.

Yesterday it was $3.99 a gallon. Not sure if it went up again.

Hi Ladies,
I was sent this site and it is cool.
This is pretty nifty. Just enter your zip code in the site below, and it tells you which gas stations have the cheapest prices (and the highest) on gas in your zip code area. It's updated every evening.

Thanks for the site, I put it in my favorites. Gas is $4.05-4.15 around here. I think that the oil companies need to put their "big girl panties" on & help us little people instead of gouging us. Enough is enough!!

Thank you, Craftyldy for posting that site. Most places here in my town are about 3.87 but one place is actually charing 4.25. I can't imagine anyone actually buying gas there.

Around here it's getting up to about $3.89. We paid $3.80.09 with a discount of $.03 at the King Soopers pump. I've noticed that on the major hiways that it's $4. and over. Was hoping it would be going down soon. But, the oil companies are stating that it's the governments fault for not letting them drill in the US and having to import from the other countries.

We're still holding steady at $4.05. I did hear on the radio this morning that they are expecting gas to go down slightly. Apparently, the price of crude oil has gone down because of decreasing demand. Doesn't matter, as soon as they lower the price, people will start driving more again and the price will shoot right back up!

A tv news crew filmed a petrol station at $1.56p/L and said wow how high, and as they were filming the station took 0.14c p /L off in an instant, how can the petrol station do that when others aren't and to have it that much to high.

Gone down a bit to $1.42 p/L as of last night

Last night I filled my tank and got gas at 3.87 a gallon which I thought was better than some places.
