How do you put your sheets on your bed?

How do you put your sheets on your bed when you make it? I have always put the right sides of the top and bottom sheets facing each other. That way when you pull back the covers, the full colors of the sheet set are showing. My husband thinks I am weird. I want to know what you guys all think.

Actually, I have never thought about it. I guess I just put them on!

We always had plain sheets so it didn't matter much, but now we have printed and sheets with piping at the top hem so I put right sides together so when I turn down the top hem over the blanket to make it easier to pull the sheets back, the piping show.

Exception: Two member of my family don't see the need for a top sheet, very frustrating for me as the blankets take on more wear and tear.

When my husband was single, he used to puta bottom sheet, then a blanket (this is where he would sleep) then another blanket and a thick comforter. He hated it when we first married and I wouldn't sleep that way. Yuk! I'm nice to him in the winter months when I put flannel sheets on the bed.

I put the two sheets facing each other too. Does look nice when the sheet is pulled over the quilt. I usually tie the bottom parts of the quilts with a rubber band on each corner. Stays on the bed better and don't have anything hanging over too trip on. Usually buy bed in a bag when they are on sale where everything matches and the quality is better.

Right now the bedding on the bed is flannel sheets with a matching comforter. A Light blue background with snowflakes on it. Ususally my bedding doesn't match that well. They were all a gift from hubby a couple of Christmases ago.
The only problem with a bed in a bag is they never have enough pillowcases. Hubby and I both use two pillows.

I love Flannel sheets and also have a not too thick blanket and not too thick quilt on bed. Not enough pillow cases for me either as I have 1 body pillow and 1 king pillow both were my parents and also 2 reg pillows so no cases match just colorwise lol. I have to have my head raised thus all the pillows

I also put the 2 sheets facing each other. There is a little bit of tailored trim on the flat sheet and I like it to show when I turn back the quilt.

If DH ever happens to make up the bed, he just puts it together at random. There is a good shot that the top end of the flat sheet would be at the bottom of the bed. To him, who cares? The sheet is on the bed, that's all that matters. If I want to be particular about it, I get to make up the bed.

dval....All the bed in a bags that I have bought had two pillow cases and two shams which are a fancy pillow case with an edging all around. Dresses up the bed with the comforter and matching dust ruffle.

For my bed, it doesn't matter. When I am making the beds for the rental cabins, it's facing each other so it looks pretty when it's folded back. Hmmm, why do the rentals have better sheets than I do at home? LOL
