I"m Out! I'm Out!!!! !!!!!
Whoever sent the bail, I thank you!!!!

Tomorrow I need to go buy some stuff for lunch. I was reading the "what's for lunch" thread yesterday and got some good ideas.

I also need a lunch box thing and some small tupperwer containers.

Also need to color my grays.

I have a doctors appt at 3 to see which route I am going to continue with the estrogen or not.. I am having a horrible allergy to somthing and, as far as I can figure, these estrogen shots are the only thing new.

Plus take and pick Mark up from work..............

Mom and dad came over for dinner today. I made an ugly roast, green beans and carrots, beets, rice and blueberry muffins. It was good!
Mom and I finished our collage posters we started before Mark and dad got sick.
Plus mom and I played a game of scrabble.
I told them I wanted to be sure to keep our Sunday dinners. Once I start work that will proboably be the only time in the week I see them.............until I can get them involved in some activities.

hugs, train

Thanks Felicia! I like the tags too. I've been collecting them a while.

Boggsz - Do you mean the attachments or the actual signature? I can show you what I know, if you want but I don't know it all.

Hi there girls,

Well, I had not been to FC since 9th Oct and have over 4,000 posts to read!! Will not get them all read, but have read every one in Friendship. And now I wish I hadn't. It is bad enough to feel a long way away, but to know that if I did come to USA I would have to mix with criminal women of unsavoury habits.....oh! no! more than I can think about.

Karen, saw you are having a baby shower. on the 20th? I am hosting one for dd at her place on 21st. I have made a lot of the food as it is a light luncheon. Have cakes and slices to do this week. A friend of Ky's is doing the games. I am making her a nappy (diaper) cake, and have made a Nappy Turn. It is for fun - like a clock face but instead of numbers you paste photos of the husband / partner. Then have one dial, and the idea is when it is time to change a nappy they spin the dial and whose pic it lands on changes the nappy. Of course, with it only having pics of him, it looks like he always gets the job!! Should be fun.

My arm is still healing, am allowed to start driving short bits this week, that is since the accident on 14th July!

I don't post here much because I basically lead a very boring life at the moment.

My dd and son-in-law who you may remember got ammried on an Islad resort celebrated their 1st anniversary on 7th Oct! That time has flown. And their baby is due in early Dec.

Hope all are well, and hugs all round.
God bless,
(Lynne - praying for )

Lynn, that is TOO funny about the "nappy turn." I will have to store that idea away in case I ever have a shower to attend.

Train, you are going to be a LOT less gray than the people you're working with! Why worry about your hair?

I just found out that the Boy Scouts have their Court of Honor on Thursday. Of course I have a big stack of Big DS's merit badges that he earned LAST year Guess what I'll be doing this week? He won't be earning many badges this time but he is the Senior Patrol Leader so he has to conduct the ceremonies--so his uniform must be complete and fully loaded with badges.

Donna, good luck tomorrow on your first day at your new job!!!

Lynne, I am glad that you have healed to the point that you can drive. It has seemed like a slow process. Congrats to your DD and her DH on their celebration of their anniversary and the upcoming happy package.

Barb, that sounds like a lot of work getting your DS ready! Have fun! lol

Tonight is my super long day. I work with a child this morning, go to work from 11am until 5pm, and then have to be back in Odessa at 7pm until 9:45pm for class! DH is going to grill burgers so that the 1 hour I am hope won't be spent with me cooking. It is about about an hour, round-trip to drive from Odessa to Midland and back again.

Wow, I missed a lot not being here for a day and a half!

Connie, I am glad your nephew made it home safely but am sorry that there was no celebration in your town. Glad at least the aunt speaks to you but am glad to know you are being careful as to what you say. With all that goes on, I would not trust anyone either. And I cannot imagine not have a dishwasher anymore. (I just had to replace my old one) I have a portable one, too, and though I hate having to move it back and forth, I hate doing dishes more. And with daycare and my family, I would be doing dishes non stop! But, if you and dh do dishes together, I bet it is a nice bonding time. My dh always has chronic “dishpan diarrhea” so I would be doing them alone LOL.

Donna (dval) I had staples both times I had surgery and they looked scary to me, especially when I couldn’t figure out how they would take them out. Now I know it doesn’t hurt but just looks really awful. I hope you get to watch some of those movies soon though I will say napping is a luxury I am sure you don’t get often so enjoy that too!

Felicia, I think it is awesome that you want to get certified and work with the elderly. That definitely takes a special kind of person to do that and you are right, there are too many out there who just don’t have the compassion or the dedication. Any nursing home would be very lucky to get you.

Donna(train) Very glad to hear you are now bailed out of jail - just in time for your new job!!! Whew! That was close. Though I know you may not have a lot of time to post with your new job etc. I agree with Barbszy in that I hope you stay on as asst. moderator and check in as often as you can. It just wouldn’t be the same without you here!!! I think we have all reached consensus that your new place of work would be a great place for us all to move into! Definitely a very beautiful home to work in. As for what I think you are really like, hmmm, I think you are kind, compassionate and have an incredible sense of humor. I think you would be easy to talk to and a lot of fun to hang out with. I am a lot like you, very shy at first (not someone to approach someone and start a conversation) but once I get to know someone I can relax and let loose. It is a lot easier to write online than it is to talk in person sometimes.

DeBora, Can you even imagine a whole train full of FC women talking and laughing. What a wild time that would be. I am sure you will find a positive way to deal with the “snotty secretary’. You are always good at conquering challenges. Hope your long day goes well.

Sharon, thanks for the info on Northland College. DH works with two people who graduated from there and they say it was an awesome college to go to. I think he may actually apply there. I did check out the website and it looks like a great school to me though I would be sad at him going so far away. He is definitely the adventurous type. Glad you had a good time at Applefest.

Patti, My mil absolutely loves frogs too! Have a great time on your trip, a wonderful birthday and tell us all about your adventures when you get back. Stay safe!

Cau, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to you. I do hope Tim stays safe. I will be very glad when this war is over. We have lost far too many.

Lynne, I am so glad to hear that your arm is continuing to improve. Glad you will get to drive a bit - having your freedom back will be nice I am sure. The “nappy turn” clock is a great idea!!!

Barbszy, I don’t envy you having to sew on all those badges!!!

My weekend was a mixed bag. Friday night we had homemade pizza and just hung out at home. Saturday I was making great strides on housework and laundry and was hoping to do yard work on Sunday but got a phone call from one of my mom’s close friends. She had been to visit my mom and told me she was very concerned saying she didn’t think my mom was doing very well etc. (my dm is in liver failure, has copd, has macular degeneration, among other health problems and is basically living on borrowed time right now) I know that if one of her friends call it is not good. Sat. night dh and I went to the movies and then Saturday morning I headed to Maine to visit my mom. I made sure to bring lunch etc. because I didn’t want her to have to cook etc. I brought a big beef stew and a salad and my brother’s fiance made two kinds of cookies for dessert and brought rolls. We had a nice visit and both my brothers came down as well. My dm does not look good at all but trying to get health information out of her is like pulling teeth! My brothers and I all agree that she should go to the doctors etc. and she says she will but she often lies to us so none of us are sure as to what to do. She tries to protect us so doesn’t always tell us the truth. We do know she does not want to die in a hospital but we are afraid at this point we will one day walk into the house and find her dead. She can just be so frustrating. I think at this point all I can do is make sure to visit more often so I can keep an eye on things. My brothers are going to stop by more often as well and keep me posted. They both live right near her where I am an hour and a half away. I guess all we can do is take it one day at a time. Well, dc kids are in rare form today - being good but very loud! I will be glad when the kindergarteners go to school! Hope everyone is having a good Monday.

Ooo yay Barb...tons of sewing! I certainly don't envy you.

Sammi - I actually did get to watch one movie so far last night "Family Man" with Nicholas Cage. Not bad. I thought it would be more funny. I plan on watching a movie again in a few minutes.
