"Tully"--that title sounds familiar....

I am reading "Me and Emma" that DebK recommended to the Book Discussion Group. Excellent, but heartbreaking, book.

Barbszy, I have ordered "Me & Emma" but it hasn't come in yet, same with the other book on polio. I remember liking the book "Tully" but can't remember what it was about so will probably read it again.

I haven't visited this thread before, but will be back again to get some ideas.
I am reading "The Heavenly Man", a non-fiction book by Brother Yun, a Chinese christian who has spent many years in and out of gaol being tortured for his insistence on spreading the Gospel. It is without a doubt the most disturbingly challenging book I have ever read, I hate to put it down but then 1 or 2 chapters gives me plenty to think on until the next evening when I read another chapter or 2. Highly recommended.

I have a couple of books going right now. Just reading for entertainment since I have a lot of reading to do for my class I am taking and need a diversion.
Point Blank by Catherine Coulter
The Heir by Johanna Lindsey
I have never read anything by either of these authors before.

I am reading "Fame" by Karen Kingsbury- it is the first book of her Firstborn Series. I have never read any of her books that I didn't like... All of them have been very good.

I have started reading A Splendid Solution which is the next choice for the fc book discussion group. It is great - I can't put it down.

Sammi I am still waiting on that one from an inter library loan....could be a few weeks before I get it.

I finished reading Marley and Me.....good book quick read. I found myself laughing out loud at some spots and crying at others. I told me SIL (who has labs, she just lost one like Marley) she should read it.

Not sure which book I will pick up next

I just finished reading Secret Mysteries by Sylvia Browne, it was a great book and well researched, but of course I am a big Sylvia fan anyway...

Sammi--Glad you are enjoying Splendid Solutions. I felt the same way when I read it. Hope your recommendation will encourage a few more people to pick it up and join the book discussion thread.
