Getting Your Groove On

Let's share all of our groovy finds!

You can hear 'em comin' ....Thwack, thwack, thwack, thwack.

Mom calls them thongs.

Hawaiians call them slippers

Everyone else knows them as flip flops

Check out this style!

Flip-flops have also been worn to the Whitehouse! so how can you go wrong?

Flip-flopping away,
janet

Squid Soap-Fun Stuff

When you push down on SquidSoap's dispenser, it shoots a small amount of black ink with the soap. You're supposed to keep washing your hands until you remove all the black ink. It takes about 15 to 20 seconds to get everything off.

Janet, don't show that one to my kids! I could just see my bathroom covered in black ink!

And here in Australia they are far more than a beach thing. You can get things to wear anywear at all now - some have furry "straps", some are heavily beaded, they come with high heels, wedge heels, in plastic, fabric, denim, leather, rubber. And I think they are most uncomfortable. But I nearly laughed myself silly yesterday - dh and I saw some SATIN ones, creamy-gold, with sequins on them. Now, dd gets married in a few weeks in Queensland, on an island resort. It's likely to be hot - now should I wear satin, sequined thongs?

The squid soap dispenser is cute, Janet, but not in my white bathrooms thanks lol (too old for the mess it seems)

Hi Everyone! I love flip-flops..I can't wear them where I live..too many rocks...but they are great looking..

I heard for an island resort wedding, Hemlynne, that if you are getting married on sand..to go barefoot..all of the bridesmaids too..Is it the separation of the toe, you can't stand? I find it is something to get used to..just like a toe ring. lol

Kathy, I like that name Jandals...cute. Much better than thongs..lol I wore flip-flops most of my life..till I tore up an ankle and foot. lol
I still like them to slip on to put my dog out in the morning.

Karen, I love the squid soap too..it goes on black, but as your child washes his/her hands..it disappears. This also makes sure that your child hands get a good washing...for they are trying to wash the black off..

Hugs, Janet

I guess I'd have to say that I have a flip flop collection because I have so many pairs. I love them.

Janet---I am sl glad my DD and DS are older because I know they'd love to have that soap.
