Question ISO Adult Tap Shoes

HI! I am looking for ADULT tap shoes, size 8 1/2 or 9. Does anyone know where even to look for adult shoes? I'm totally at a loss. I find kids tap shoes in shoe stores, at Wal-Mart and in thrift stores but none for adults. Any ideas?

Also try

I got my DD's jazz shoes there, and they even have dance shoes in W and WW widths which she needed. Great selection and prices.

dance store?

I would also suggest just go to your local dance store- that would be the most logical thing in terms of selection.
I dont think wal- mart would be a smart idea .
and the catalogues are good but you really do have to try them on.
each brand has a different feel and maybe your teacher wants a certain type of tap.

OK, this one is a little late but for future reference, lol,
EBAY IS YOUR FRIEND!!! Just ALWAYS know exactly what shipping will be
BEFORE you bid.
The largest percentage of sellers are just like you and me.... HONEST.
You can get great deals on eBay , but NEVER bid without knowing what
you're gonna end up paying for shipping/handling. That's like giving a
signed check on your bank acct.

You can also check your local western wear store if you have those in your area. I use to clog LOL many years ago and I got mine from the Western Store, where they sold boots, saddles and western wear.

Thanks to all of you. You've given me some great suggestions. So far, I can find the shoes I like, but they are mostly around $60. Since this is just for me to play around and try to get some enjoyable exercise, I hate to spend that much. I can get some $15 shoes that will fit but aren't the style I want from my daughter's dance teacher. If I can't find anything else, that may be the way I go. ˇMuchas Gracias!
