What's on your wish list?

What would you put on your wish list if money was no object? If you were able to write down everything that you needed or wanted what would it include? Remember, money is no object, so be sure to include everything. When I come back from school today I will list mine. I will probably make 2 lists, one for things that I know are possible--things people could actually give me for gifts or things that I could actually save up for. The other list will be things that I may never get, but it is always fun to dream! This is a place and a time for you gals and guys to dream!

I thought this would be a fun topic. None of the things on your wish list has to be reasonable or realistic. I don't have much time, and last night I was thinking of a hundred of them. So, later I may come back and list some more.

Here are a few of mine.

1) A pilot's license and a helicopter.
2) Fuschia 68' Corvette (I'm really planning on getting one of these someday!)
3) A cabin in the mountains
4) A degree in culinary arts (I want to do it all--be a psychologist AND a chef!)
5) A large kitchen with all the gadgets a cook could ever want
6) A nice RV and time to travel the NASCAR circuit as well as garage passes to every race.
7) I want to go tandum jumping (sky diving) while hooked onto a really good-lloking guy. (Hey, it's the only way to go! Yes, my DH knows this is my dream. Hey, he can spend the afternoon with Shania Twain during this time if he wants!)
8) I want to travel to every state in the United States.

I've got more, so I'll come back later and list some them! I know late last night there were so many, "I really wish I had such-and-such so that my life would be easier." type stuff.

Pinkie Winky My wish list

Ooh, this is fun!

~ A complete home makeover - furniture & appliances included
~ A fire-engine red Corvette (convertible, of course)
~ A set of quality pots and pans
~ A Cuisinart food processor

~ The financial ability to travel wherever I wanted
~ A paid college education for my boys

This was just off the top of my subject, thanks!

This is a list of what we want that can be purchased, right?

There's not a lot on my list, but what I do have is expensive.

I would like a house big enough for my family (5 kids & me & hubby) -- I need my own room for all my crafts & sewing stuff (LARGE ROOM!)

All my bills paid off

Enough money to pay all my bills every month and on time

A laptop computer for me & for my son
Now, I'm sure that my kids could ask for a whole lot more, but that's all I really want.
Things money cannot buy:

-125 lb weight loss
-A better relationship with my husband OR a different one (which might be the better choice -- since you can't make anyone change, they have to want to and he doesn't)
-my children actually cleaning up their rooms when I ask them -- or -- even before I ask
-a better co-worker
-being more fluent in Spanish so as to not be embarrassed in front of the parents I have to talk with -- I am forever using the wrong tense of a verb, the wrong verb or noun...but at least I'm trying.
-time to work in my garden, go to college, work and still spend time with kids.
-enough space and income and emotional support to adopt "unwanted" kids

Charlene, mother to five

When God closes a door, somewhere he opens a window.

Money, Money, Money

The first crazy thing I would do it fly to Vegas and pay at all the high limit tables and play the maximum!
I'd probably keep the house we just built but would go nuts at Lazy Boy and Ethan Allen and Pottery Barn furnishing it.
I'd donate a ton to lung cancer research in my mother's name.
I'd donate a ton to the humane society.
I'd donate a lot to foster care programs.
I'd donate a ton to the Michigan Department of Corrections so they could build a lot more prisons including a leper type colony for all the sex offenders.
I'd pay my friends', co-workers and family's debts off for them.
I'd contribute or bribe congress whatever it took to make smoking tabacco illegal in the United States so nobody else would have to lose a mother to lung cancer caused by smoking.
I'd hire my own chef.

I like this thread.

Only a couple of things I can think of right now.

My own plane so I could fly to Texas every Tuesday, Thursday and Sat. nights to watch Big Brother with my sister.

Enough money so my hubby could retire cause the company he is working for laid off a bunch of people and he has to work crazy long hours now and even though he works from home he is in his office all the time and I miss him.

That's all I can think of for now.

First, welcome Beth1954!

Now I remember what I wanted that led to me deciding to start this thread:
A food processor
A new blender
Some really good quality balsamic vinegar
Some really good quality olive oil
A coffee grinder

The cabin that I wanted in the mountains has been my DHs dream since before I married him. Here, I do not have access to fresh seafood, which I so love. So, I guess if I could fly, then I could travel to the coast and get me some. Since I am a native Texan--it would have to be the Gulf of Mexico.

If you wanna talk "dream" and we aren't talkin money I would just want cancer and other diseases. Too bad nice, quality rest homes are few and far between.

My entire house redone: painted inside and out, new carpet and tile. That also includes replacing the wooden roof with another type of shingles.

New furniture that looks nice but is also cat friendly (I may have to invent that).

The yard redone and the old wooden fence replaced with brick.

Nice sturdy shelves all the way around in the garage to keep DH happy.

New economy cars for DH and me. Maybe one would be one of those miniature type of vans so we could haul stuff if we needed to. I really miss my Toyota hatchback.

A nice big cat scratching post with beds included for my two cats and a trustworthy sitter for them when I go on a vacation.

There are several places in the world that I would like to see. My first stop would be Niagara Falls. I would also like to visit Pennsylvania, Ellis Island and the statue of Liberty. Overseas I would visit London, Ireland, France, Italy, Israel, and Egypt.

Good health and good doctors when needed for preventive medicine.
