The first movie I saw in a theater--Star Wars. My mom took me. Now I'm taking her to the Star Wars Celebration III in Indy. The prequels haven't been as good as the originals, but I am looking forward to seeing Episode III when it is released next month. I might take my oldest daughter to see it for her first movie. I'll have to see it first to make sure it won't be too much for her. She's 4.

The Princess Bride is another favorite in our home.

Favorite movies

I think my favorite movie of all time will always be The Sound of Music.

Here are some others:

The Count of Monte Cristo (incredible message)
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Star Wars - all of them
Most Tom Hanks movies
Braveheart
Oh Brother, Where Art Thou
The Princess Bride
Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves (2nd date movie with hubby, 13 years+ ago)

I'm sure there are some great favorites I've forgotten about - but that is a start.
