My grandparent, I think of them as 1 unit, and my husband.

Very interesting question. Thanks

I would have to say my babysitter, Pat. She instilled in me a nonjudgemental love for people. She taught me to love everyone at a young age. She was one of the most giving people...at that point in my life.....that I had ever met!! Also, she loved christmas more than anyone I knew!!! That love spilled over into my life and I always remember my dear Pat in heaven when Christmas time comes around!!

Secondly, I would say my Camp Fire Girl councelors at Camp Wakoma!!! They were all of 19 and 20 years old but I had them on the biggest pedestal!! I couldn't wait to get to be their age!!! LOL!!! They taught me a love of camping which I still have in my life today!!!

hugs,train

I would have to say that one of the many people who had a positive influence on my life was a business teacher I had in high school. She was a demanding teacher and was very strict about how some things should be done and proper business behavior. Though I often hated her perfectionism at the time, I have found those lessons to be so useful now that I am adult. I have never forgotten the things she taught me and am now so grateful for her always expecting the best of her students.

The two people that had the most influence on my life were:

I have to count these as a unit, because without each of them it would not have been such an influence were my brothers and sisters, as I am the baby of the family. They taught me alot about life, and taught me how to be "tough". And learn to deal with stuff, they really picked on me a lot!

And than another unit would be my kids. I was a teen mom, and they really helped me grow up fast. But, now that they are teens, they help me to be young at heart!

It's so nice to hear something positive coming from someone who was a teen parent. I too was/am a teen parent and sometimes I feel as people look down upon me. I'm glad to hear of a positive experience. I don't encourage being a teen mother, but I don't regret it at all. Thank You for giving me a more positive perspective of my situation.

I would have to say my parents, especially my mom, she was and still is someone I respect, look up to,loved me no matter what, taught me to appreciate the "little" things and shaped me to become a good mom ( and now Im a GM) .Its great to see in my own dd the things I took from my mom and instilled in her and now she is instilling the same values in my 2 gds.
Also my dh (2nd marraige) 13 years now, without him Id probably be the same insecure person my 1st dh made me to become

Cant_blame_U , dont ever let anyone make you feel that because you are a young mom you are less worthy. My own dd was a mom at 19 ,and Im so so proud of her and what she has accomplished for the 1st few years she struggled to work and get thru nursing school on her own, at that time she wasnt married (she is now)she also proved she can make it on her own which made her a much stronger person.Im sure you are a wonderful mom, and being young doesnt mean you are any less a good mom.
Hugs Sandie
