My maternal grand mother is one. She is this awsome lady with a beautiful taste, elegant style, romantic at heart... She is the one that taught me the value of morals in life, ambition, goal acheiving and also the importance of forgiving. They don't make them like that any more.
My daughters as a unit. I just am so totally in awe with them and so proud of what I have become since I had them!

cant_blame_u, I have to agree with sandieluvsbears! Don't let anyone make you feel less of a person, because you are/were a teen mom!!! Never ever ever!!!

But, I am glad I could give you a positive outlook! I am now just a little over 34 years old. I had my oldest DD in August of 1988, and I turned 18 in Nov. of 1988.

I was really lucky though, as my parents did not condem me for being a teen parent. I continued to work until my due date. And my baby was two weeks overdue. That was a real treat!! My Mom would take me shopping with her, and I wasn't allowed to tell people that my due date was July 26th!! Beings that at the time it was like August 4th or later!

Sorry, to get off topic here, but, just wanted to let cant_blame_u, feel better about being a teen parent. It is quite enjoyably now. But, I ended up having two more children later in life, at a more "normal" age. And, boy do the older ones ever teach me and the younger ones a lot!!!

I'd hve to say my two dear children, as one of my influences. They are great, and they are so good to me. When things went bad with my first marriage, they were young, but new so much more than I thought. I hope that makes sense.

My second person is my DH. He is the greatest! He has made me feel confident and he has helped me with the horrible complex I have had for years and years.....I could keep going on and on, but I won't!

I think both my grandmothers were a big influence on my life, and I cherish the memories of the time I spent with them. I hope that when I am a grandparent I do as well by my grandchildren as they did for me, just by their presence, their example, their interest and concern, and their love.

Would have to say my sweet dear husband John.... I was so naive and inward, very unaware of things, and He taught me so much and changed my life in so many different ways...

Then the other would have to be an organziation more than a person.... and that would be scouts....as I learned to stand in front of groups, not to be bashful, and I can train others as well as teach them things.....

yet I'm thankful for all that has enter my life as I've got older I've learned that each person that enters your life there is a reason, and you can learn from the experiences if you only take time to review your life and those that has enter your life for whatever reason it may be.....

Mrs. Holm, my English teacher in 10th and 12th grades. She made you want to learn and do new things, and found ways to encourage you no matter what you did. She has always been my favorite teacher.

Mrs. Courtney, my piano teacher from the age of 5 through 18. She believed in hard work and having fun with classical music, and found talent in everybody- whether that talent was tickling the ivories or not!
