Tidy Houses

So, how neat/tidy is your house?

Is there one thing you absolutely HAVE to kkep clean?

What chore doesn't bother you to just let it go?

When it comes to my kitchen and bathrooms, I am anal! They MUST be clean or I go crazy! I drive DH batty when I fuss at him because he left bread crumbs on the counter when he made a sandwich.......I don't like dirty dishes in my sink.......the bathrooms must be cleaned daily and the tubs/showers must be cleaned after each use. The kitchen & bathrooms must be clean!

I will be honest, I guess, when it comes to what I can let
slide.....if DH is the last one to get up on the weekend, sometimes I will let it pass if he doesn't make the bed.

I have to come to the conclusion that my house will never
again be as tidy as I like it until the two DS have moved out!

I am terrible at house cleaning.....I dislike all chores in the house!!! The one thing I do keep on top of is the bathrooms and the one thing I can let go is the dusting.

When i saw this thread I had to chuckle as just last night I found a house cleaner to replace the one I lost 6 months ago. I just can not keep up with it. I can not do any during the day and at night I just don't want to and it never all cleaned at once. She is willing to come one night a week and clean for 2 hours. I will be able to claim it on my income tax. Leaves me more time with the kids.

Since I started working full time again my house is not very neat. My pet peeve is hair on the bathroom counter or sink so that gets wiped off every day. Believe it or not, I do not mind scrubbing the toilets but absolutey hate dusting and vacuuming. I also hate organizing paid bills amd papers and have a huge stack on my desk that I need to sort through.

Well since its just dh and I in the house it gets more dusty than anything, but the one thing I can not stand is going to bed with any dirty dishes in the sink!!I also if I could get away with it would just keep the clothes that come out the dryer in the basket and iron as we go, but since dh would have a fit I dont do that. I totally HATE putting clothes away, I dont even know why, but I always put it off. When dh was a teenager that was her job, thats how much I hate it.Another thing "please do not touch or move my bears"! that drives me crazy GD's even know better than to start touching them I know that sounds mean lol, but they have my whole craft room full of everything including bears they can play with when they are here.

KIM, I just put the wand attachment on my vacuum and vacuum them, its about the only thing you can do, thats why Im not too fond of white bears beacuse you cant keep them clean no matter what and Ive tried washing one (a white one) and yes it was clean but the fur never looks the same even if you put in a dryer to fluff it up.

I can never keep up with papers and filing..... and tossing. When I get in the mood then I shred for hours it seems. I am getting very fussy about each person cleaning up after themselves. My youngest two are great but dh and ds1 are terrible. I don't have any energy latey either. When I am home I just want to sleep.
