I watched Lost last week in a motel room and couldn't post. I don't know how much I will remember, but here goes. First of all I don't think Locke is going to die. Whatever the force that is on the island is---it seems to like Locke. Ben is defintely just a little more than mentally unbalanced. He will go to any lengths to get what he wants, even kill his own father and the guy who brought them to the island (who I thought he looked up to). Did you notice that the person he meets as a child after leaving the compound is the same person who is one of his "other" helpers, but hasn't seem to have aged a day. Ben said he was the last baby to be born on the island, but that was a lie.
Unfortunately I have plans again tomorrow night, so I will have to get the kids to tape the episode for me.

Last weeks episode confused me a bit. I was disappointed that Sawyer killed Locke's dad. I understand why he did but still disappointed in his character as I thought he had changed
I am sad this is the season finale. It looks to be a good episode, though. I just don't want Charlie to die.

Sammi, I don't think the finale is until the 23rd--next week --- at least I hope so.

There are two more episodes for this season.

According to the producers there are going to be three more seasons and it will end in 2010.

It is so interesting with all the twists and how they are all interconnected. In the flashbacks it is always wise to look in the background to see what other characters you might see.

Sawyer killking Locke's Dad because he was the con man who killed his own Dad. It set him off when Locke's Dad ripped up his letter. Locke knew this because the others gave him Sawyer's file.

Jacob is an interesting addition. More about "him" will come in future seasons. So will Annie be back in Ben's flashbacks. Note that in the Darma purge that some of the Darma people were smart enought not to be purged and are now with the others.

Sitting anxiously awaiting tomorrow night.

I thought last night's episode was the calm before the storm show. There were really no big surprises, except maybe at the end when Charlie find people on the underwater station, but even that was somewhat predictable.
Ben seemed a little unhinged when he came back to the camp. I think he was trying to cover what happened to Locke as the rest of the others seemed to really like Locke.
Next weeks 2 hour episode will hopefully answer a few questions and I am sure leave us with enough to keep us hanging all summer.

I liked last night's episode. I am so glad Charlie did not die. I thought there might be a twist there but they way he was saying good bye etc. really had me worried LOL. I am glad Jack seems to still be one of the good guys. The new girl seems to have become accepted. I am wondering why Charlie and the other guy just didn't try cutting the cable rather than go to the underwater bunker. The others seem to have some pretty fantastic technology. And where is Locke? I think I may have missed something. The next episodes look pretty good.

Sammi--Can we be sure Charlie might not still die? Desmond told him he pulled the switch at the flashing yellow light and then he drowned.
I don't think Locke is dead. I think he will be part of the finale.
One of the interesting comments I thought last night was when Karl said something to Alex about Ben being her father and she answered "Is he?"
The new girl seems to be accepted and doesn't seem to be too worry about anything---?? I find it a little strange that she easily accepts that the survivors are a live, the others are out to get them and the other weird things that happen.
I am defintely looking forward to next week. I have to make sure my calender is clear.

I think Locke is still alive. He seems to be resilient.
I don't think Ben is Alex'x father. I think he stole her from the mother (can't remember her name).
It is so interesting that the "outside world" found the plane full of dead bodies, but here they are on the island. Almost like everyone has a dead twin or something.
