Watching Out For Hurricane Jeanne Again

Cannot believe Jeanne is a threat again. Should be heading for Florida by Sunday afternoon. They still do not know what part of Florida it will hit. Let us pray it goes out to sea where it belongs.

this is really some season. I really hope that Jeanne would fizzle out and go away, but it doesn't look like it will. I hate to see FL as a target again, but I don't want it to come to NC either. Will be watching it carefully.
One good thing, it has waited until my vacation is over. I expected some rain while on vacation this week but everyday has been nice and sunny, cool at night and it's just getting warmer again during the day-perfect weather for a vacation.
I go back to work on Sunday morning and it'll probably start raining then.
My sister and her husband are coming in to visit a few days-they'll be here Sunday and I hope it really doesn't rain the whole time they're here since it's only a short time.
take care all

shocking DS is in Orlando Working and I can't reach him!

Anybody near Orlando????????

DS drove down to Orlando to do some work for a satellite installer that needed help and I have lost contact with him. His cellular phone keeps going right into voice messaging. Is there no cellular service there? Does anyone know?

I hope he has the sense to get out of there this afternoon and head for somewhere else!

Worried MOM.......

jnlowe.....If it is going into voice messaging he probably has it turned off so he does not get calls while he is working. Looks like the service is working. Most plans charge for out of town calls during the day free at night.

I am sure he will be answering you messages soon as he knows what his schedule will be.

DS in Orlando

SueAnne,

I wish I shared your optimism.
I have tried all hours of the day and nite.
Sometimes it rings a few times, then goes into voice messaging. Sometimes it goes directly in.

At either rate, he should be able to retrieve his messages and get back to me if he has service.

Oh, well....

I shall exercise my faith in God and know he will be safe.

Thanks for the info!

Ciao!

Praying with you!!

I don't think the east coast can really handle another hit from a hurricane!

Looks like if we get any of it, it won't be until the middle of next week.

Hopefully it takes a big sweep out to sea!!

This storm season is nuts.
My BF was trying to find a place to get away for the weekend.........there are no rooms ANYWHERE. The entire Gulf coast is either destroyed, or full of people who are displaced.
Our lives have been non-stop turmoil since August 11th or so. We are so sick of CONSTANT hurricane threats, the unrepaired damages, the problems with insurance, SBA, FEMA......etc. We just want some peace and quiet for 2 days, to regain our sanity.
Looks like we are doin' another DVD and dinner........

Welcome to paradise.
