Oh Cyn, how awful! That poor man and poor you! I can just imagine how you felt! Especially being a teenager! Everything is such a drama at that age. What gets me is no one offered to help!

Ok, Sandie told me I had to tell this, so here goes!

It's been a while back. Kelly and I had gone to Target shopping. We got done, going to the car, I've got my keys out to unlock the trunk of the car. I put the key in and nothing happens. Well, the trunk is a little difficult to open and sometimes you have wiggle the key. So, that is what I do. Still, nothing. So, I take the key out, put it back in and turn it again. Nothing. Now I'm getting really frustrated! Is Kelly offering to help? NO!!!!! Once again I take the key out and put it back in, saying a bunch of ugly words under my breath, when it didn't work the third time, I turned to Kelly.....he is standing there trying not to laugh! I looked at him and said "I'm so glad I can amuse you with this! Why don't you try to get the *************thing unlocked if your so smart!!!!!!!" He is dying laughing by this time. He takes my hand walks two cars over, inserts my keys and walla, the trunk opens up!!!! I had been at the wrong car the whole time!!!
Did he bother to tell me this? NO! Have I heard the end of it yet? NO! Everytime we're out, he says, let me unlock the car, you can't seem to find the right one to unlock!

I keep praying for the day when I can get him back! God does not like ugly!!!

Love,
Nancy

Nancy honey, I asked you awhile ago if you should be driving?!?

This one happened to my 16 yo.

Ty's school is across town so we have to chauffeur him back and forth (til he gets a car!!!) We would brave the huge parking lot with the craziest teen drivers. Even just sitting there stationary was dangerous so we told Ty to hurry out of the school.

One day is is raining hard and like everyone, he has his head down as he walks to the car. He opens door, jumps in, sits down and shakes his wet head and says, "OK, dad, let's go!" A voice jerks his head up and he says he eyeball to eyeball with a complete stranger (a father) who laughingly says, "Who the h... are you? and what are you doing in my car?" We are in the NEXT car waiting for him and laughing. He gets out of wrong car, turns and gets into right car. He looks right at me and says, "That's something you would do, MOM!"

All of my boys do goofey things (except my youngest - he looks like my side but he doesn't have my grace ! )

My oldest went tanning last night after he got his unibrow waxed. He is a very handsome young man and tans very very dark naturally in the sun. But his friend talked him into tanning at a salon. He came home to show me his red belly! He told the clerk that he never burns and so they put him into the super duper bed. I'm not being very sensitive about his pain because I felt with his skin coloring, he didn't need to waste his money on tanning beds.

Today he informs me that he burned his very sensitive and very private crotch area! WHAT!!! You burned your n--ts! I tell him to get the ice pack out. He's taken several baths, packed it with ice - still burns. When I asked why he was completely nude, he said all guys tan that way. WHAT! He's a smart kid but not very practical. When his dad came home and we told him what his eldest son had done (this was the kid who accidentally shaved chunks of his eyebrows off and I had to draw them back in with makeup so he could go to work!). Cary started singing, "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire..." We haven't stopped laughing.

See why I'm always laughing - my boys bring such delight into my life. My progeny! They look like me, act like me and goof like me. I think their conversation with God will be longer than mine!!!!

LOL, that is funny. What silly things teenagers do. My boys are too bashful to wear shorts let alone sunbathe in the nude. They have done their share of "HMMM" moments though.
Hope he is feeling better.
Hugs, Stormy

cyn, I luv'd it as I have his older clone down here. In fact he is to do his wedding vow's (threatening to do it in a thong) you got it, he missed two days of work because of sunburnt butt. At least yours did his in privacy, mine in the middle of the buisest pass in Destin, it has a shallow area where anywhere from 20 - 100+ boats will gather on pretty weekends as the water is crystal clear & they swiw, jet ski, etc, he thought "how funny it would be to jet ski standining up on one leg in a thong through out the crowd. Yep, now I'm known as the "Man Thong's Mom" in our community. He said he did it to make people laugh and the group he was with was on vacation from Min. and wanted their last day in Paradise to be memorable. Well it still is When he told my mother that when he & fddil exchange vows next month, she told him" You've been showing your [email protected]# since you came in this world, this one day, please don't" Me-What ever makes them happy, it's not my wedding.

Okay, here's my plan! I am going to start parking in the back forty of parking lots. That way, maybe, there will be no other cars the same color as mine and I will not try to get into other people's cars! That's right! Laugh all you want! It happened again! Thank goodness the gentleman had a great sense of humor!

I feel like a real idiot!!!! I know God has a plan for me, but it can't be this, can it?

Love to all,
Nancy

Nancy you are something else, LOL. Do you have an antenna on your car? If you do you may want to put one of those antenna toppers on your car. I had a green Honda Civic for awhile and had to put a bumpersticker in the dash so I could tell my car from all the other green Honda Civic's ( I did not peel the backing off so it did not stick to anything).
Love and hugs, Stormy
